I don't think we will suck.
I am worried about the secondary though, and a little about Highsmith.

That definitely looks like the week 1 starting D to me.

I think Sutton will be fine. I am not convinced that Pierre is good enough to be on the field as often as he will be.

If the Steelers can make a sneaky good pickup at CB, between now and the start camp, this defense is going to be better than people think.

The question mark should not be Cameron Sutton. The question mark really should be directed at Joe Haden. How many more top shelf performances does he have left within him?! Never mind him though is who is behind him in Layne and Pierre. I understand the optimism behind Pierre but playing fewer than 50 snaps and never mind 100 or more on Defense is a bit much; playoff game or otherwise.

That he moved ahead of Layne with so few snaps is encouraging. They may have found something in Pierre.

Highsmith doesn't worry me, Marsh/Roche do. We had better depth last year, but every time Watt left the field the offense cut though the D like a knife through soft butter.

Need a 3rd rotational guy who isn't a complete liability.

How do you feel about the secondary? Do you have any comments on the content of the post, or just the perceived character of the poster?

Just the poster. Much like your posts. They’re mostly negative and just a real downer.

steelers cut trevor williams and john battle. i thought williams would give some depth but must be too many injuries over the years. they did sign safety/ CB arthur mulet formerly of the jets. 4.68 40 isn't really giving me that warm fuzzy feeling about that signing. pierre, gilbert, denmark, brown, layne are the backup corners as we stand. they might make a move yet before the season.

Glenn has nothing to bring to the table. All he does is criticize anyone who doesn’t agree with his idiotic stances.

Let’s sure hope so that Secondary looks pretty rough. And that is assuming Haden plays well.

Remember Hilton was a UDFA, I think a guy like Shakur Brown another UDFA could win the slot CB role.

The secondary and OLB depth are rough. It's a reality. I feel they will add to both.

And really to think that Justin Layne will make the team instead of being cut due to the lack of depth is the tell tale.

Ask, I feel that Haden will be just fine. I like the fact that Sutton(3rd) and Pierre(undrafted) will be playing a staring role, homegrown. To bad they missed on Layne.

i think hadens play will still be pretty good. that's the one i'm not really worried about. speed back there is my main concern. base D i think will be pretty good. nickle and dime are the questions and if pierre plays like they think he can, we can sprinkle in these others and some of the safeties for help. brooks may have a bigger role around the LOS i think this year or mulet. he has some experience. his deep speed concerns me some. but gilbet if he can stay healthy could see some time. denmark and how fast he comes along may be a diamond in the rough as well. that's a big corner with 4.4 speed. he's just new to the position like layne was.

It's okay.... We have a log jam at the WR position and lost the 2nd best corner we've had in a decade.

Realistic? That’s hilarious. If you’ve ever took the time to read my posts you’d know there’s a lot of things that I have concerns about. The difference is I don’t spew negativity about the team in the majority of my posts like you do. No one is saying everyone has to be a blind Homer, but come on bro post something positive once in a while about the team you’re supposed to love and support.
