For what it's worth they are saying that the Steelers felt after seeing tape on Green and having the new Oline coach talk to him and run him through some of plays that had Green been playing center for 3 years in college he would have been considered the top center in the draft. KC said that you could see the athleticism on his tape and and his motor when he got after guys didn't stop.

Every single scouting report. He played 4 games at center in college. He's short with short arms. "they" say that about every draft pick. All of them will compete, most will be in way over their heads, which is natural - they're rookies.

Correct me if I am wrong, wasn't he first string all Big 10 at center position last year?

Here, you can read it for the second time. Point was, not everyone is calling this guy a project, I havent seen one person say that. He needs some development at center because it’s not his usual position but thats far different than a project.

why not? have you watched him at all? youtube has some tape on moore. you need to watch him blocking in the outside zone scheme that we will be running. he is extremely mobile in the run game and very good in pass sets. it also shows him pulling from one side of the formation across to the other side and making run game blocks. it's a thing of beauty. whats not to like? they drafted guys that fit what we are going to do scheme wise, not what we used to do.

Past practice. I’d put money on him not starting week 1.

He may start. But if they start a rookie at LT, then I’m changing my over under on how many games Ben starts from 3.5 down to 2.5, and I’m taking the under.

I remember everyone ragging on AQ Shipley, yet he spent 12 years in the NFL.

I was watching ESPN when he was drafted and they said his motor always runs hot. In fact one of the guys (not Kiper) said that he is so aggressive that he might have to tone it down a bit for the NFL. That's what I like to hear.

Don’t mess up the negative narrative with facts. People may have to actually have an original thought.

Sounds like a player Adrian Klemm can mold. Same goes for Dan Moore. Kevin Dotson already has that and Zach Banner just may as well. I can quite content with our line heading into the season personally.

No longer a Top 10 Unit but I would not say bottom third either. Somewhere in the middle is where I would say. Again, not ideal but much better than what we had in 2020.
