Duke CB Mark Gilbert could be a sleeper, he's had some injuries, but he ran a 4.36 at his pro day. He has the bloodlines too nephew of former NFL player Sean Gilbert, and cousin of Darrelle Revis.

Jamar Watson was pretty good in Kentucky.
I don't know anything about how he tested.

If they can somehow develop a competent slot db from these guys that would be really helpful.

Wow, Gilbert a top CB prospect before injuries. Here’s hoping injuries are behind him.

    Could be your CB @S.T.D

And one of these 8 is the Jablonski two knuckleheads thought we should have drafted at 254, rather than waiting a half of an hour to sign him as an UDFA. And yet, the world did not come to an end.

    :facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:

We are up to 4 face palms in this one.

Yes but drafting him insured he came to out camp, a guy with his talent would have had many suitors...and he has a real chance to stick around. You cannot say that for most of the guys who get drafted that late.

    Exactly.

I had the same thought farther up the thread.

Someone asked Darrelle Revis if Jets Patriots was the biggest rivalry in football.

He said “No, that would be Aliquippa and Montour”.

Yeah but drafting a punter was still stupid. It's a late 7th round but it's like saying yeah just throw it away.

I want so much to like the pick, but I get where you're coming from. If this kid can flip the field and it allows the Steelers to get good FP, then he likely was worth the pick. It's a wait and see, just like everyone else.

Lot of places had CB Shakur Brown going in the 4th. Could become a slot guy. Nice signing.

Both WR's seem intriguing. Be need deep threats, I'm not 100% sure these two guys are NFL caliber burners though.

If gilbert checks in healthy, then he's a major steal as an udfa........ This kid has skills

I’m really intrigued by Gilbert. He seems feisty, much like Mike Hilton is.

    And he is Revis’ Cousin!

    Does any team?

Although, most don’t try to start the season with an old decrepit quarterback.

You take a chance on a chance. And that chance will cost very little. Their is upside if he can.
