This thread is like those trick shot videos. If you ignore that they tried to make the shot thousands of times and you just get to see the actual success then it can seem impressive.

I remember some old Commie giving a speech on CSPAN ‘celebrating’ the life of Leon Trotsky. In his lap dog praise of him, he said: “Proof of Trotskys far sighted vision was that none of his predictions had yet to come true”. You got love that dedicated support, old Leon coulda used it that day in Mexico when a Stalinist hireling buried an ice pick in his brain.

This is where SDOT is wrong. It is where he has always been wrong. He just assumes the opportunity was there, which is a faulty assumption.

Bush is also far better than he realizes. He was a huge loss to that defense last season.

I agree that they should have taken Tyler Biadasz over McFarland, but the best pulling center in a decade? Give it a rest. SDT is the real hypeman here, and he's believing far too much of his own hype.

You are assuming that was even an option. In other words, you are making the same mistake SDOT keeps insisting on making.

Nobody wanted to touch Metcalf until the value was there, he dropped in the draft for some reason apparent to more teams than just the Steelers.

Don't you know how easy trading up is? What's wrong with you?

You just call and say hey I want to trade up and then all the other teams are like ok.

I will take Bush any day over the Noah Fant / Drew Lock combo in Denver.

Bush looks like he will become a complete all Star when he is on the field.

Definitely would not have like the Steelers to use the Bush pick to select DK Metcalf

Ok that's really weird. I just watched a random YT video where they mentioned the Trotsky ice pick story and here you are talking about it in a Steelers forum shortly after. What are the odds?

Colbert and Tomlin draft ... just like the Steelers gameplan. They make no adjustments, or think, if their plan is not working then have a backup plan. They weasel out ... with next man up or best player available ... smh

Can you link us to any quality insight from you? All I've ever seen is every Steelers pick is great. Everybody is a future pro bowler. Yet, we haven't won a Super Bowl in 12 years. Then you post predicted stat lines in your sig nobody even remembers by the playoff collapse. I post my opinion then people bash me and call me stupid. Then I end up being right and link it and I'm cherry picking and patting myself on the back.

When you know the facts and the Cardinals aka Steelers West were there for a trade.

Do you think Colbert even made a call? No. They were too busy celebrating Bush and being stingy with picks. You know it and we all know it. Now we can look and see the players we got with said picks that could have been used for a trade up. Bust.

The guy who has like 5 games at center in college is going to be the answer? This has become such a clown show with Tomlin.

Yeah his " 3 cone drill"

Now he's on pace to be one of the elite receivers in the league. 2 seasons... 2,200 yards and 17 tds. Oh yeah, he beat the Steelers/Edmunds his rookie year as a kicker too.

Communism. The old, but new boogie man. Or should I say strawman?

Hey hey look at me type of post. The reality is that the Steelers were not set back for years. They won the division and made the playoffs last year.

In this age of free agency and the draft teams can reinvent themselves and become competitive quickly.

Unless hes going to elaborate that its a strawman for the NWO, in which I would agree, in any other facet of looking at it I would call communism a boogie man but thats a discussion for elsewhere

I just felt they should have tried at least. Maybe they did and no one would buy.

Like I said, it's all hindsight.
