Needs some work, young guy, ran 4.9 40 and had 25 reps on pro day. Very aggressive, can play g/c. Solid pick.

Ok, In that case, I like it! His play at C must have been impressive enough to take him. I am, so far, pleased with this draft.

I didn’t scout this guy, PFF had this to say about him:

Green's tape is some of the most fun to watch of any offensive lineman in the class. He is a seriously explosive player capable of running a linebacker clear off the screen. He also often struggles to properly harness that explosiveness. It got better over the course of his Illinois career, though, as he saw his grade improve dramatically in each of his three years as a starter. This past year, he was tied for the Power Five lead with 14 big-time blocks. And that came in only eight games. That's some real-deal people-moving ability.

    • Can get out of his stance and scoot. Earned a 92.3 run-blocking grade on outside zone.
    • Churns feet like a champ. He'll run with defenders when he catches them off guard.
    • Seamlessly alternated between left guard and center in 2020 and had a career year.
    • Three-year starter whose grade has jumped significantly each season.

I’ll have to watch some tape of him but at least they addressed it.

LOL, what a joke of a draft. Could have had Creed/Dickerson, JOK, Sermon.

I hope we can move up and get another pick in the 4th round and two are OL.

I don't worry about this pick. Dude can start, and he just switched to G from defense. One of the top guards prospects in the draft.

Typical Colbert/MT pick. Kid was all state DL in HS. Switched to OL, Nothing sexy, but very solid pick.

    Yeah same.

The I'm concerned about Okorafor. I don't think he's starter material.

I'd be talking more to Villanueva (sp?) after this draft lol.

Alright bro how much do you need :smiley1:

Good thing AB isn't still on board - there'd be some drama over this pic. Are they suggesting everything's centered on JuJu?

Solid draft so far in my book. I bet OT comes in the 4th.

I hate picking mid/later OLB’s ... they always seem to wash out. Really what we need is someone to hold the edge in run defense if TJ or Alex goes down.

I’m sure we grab a corner somewhere. I would like an ILB too.

I like it. If C does not work out for him he still has potential to be Decastro's replacement.

Hmm, truth. The 1st round makes headlines, Rds 2 thru 5 makes teams.

So you wanted them to take a 2nd rounder in the first?
