    Their draft philosophy is:

Round 1: Add talent, continue every year
Round 2: Add talent, continue every year

How does a RB mean 'win now' on a team that was last in the league in rushing....

Don`t know much about the kid . Will watch some vids, soon on all picks.

Well , I don`t remember Mason throwing much to the TE . But he sure needed to. Ben will get the guy 20 catches this season.

Really wanted some OL at pick 2 .

I remember them saying that. The kid is good, mean, and can block.

What's that, the 2nd DL taken in 73 picks?

Pat Friermuth and Najee Harris are both solid players. Both have pro bowl potential. So it's hard not to like them. I am concerned about the oline though

This team isn’t being turned into a SB favorite in one year. These are two good pieces. Percentage wise I don’t put much stock on anyone from round 3 out. OL next year and maybe we start going? Maybe we get an OL tonight who beats the odds.

DL is crap I read somewhere that the top 10 or so went back to school because they got an extra year to raise their draft stock..So next year will be a strong DL year..

Well I don't think the intention is not contending for a superbowl this year. Otherwise they would have released Ben.

I'm pretty sure the 3rd pick is an offensive lineman we'll see shortly

Freiermuth will be TE #2 this season, so he will contribute this season, it's not like they have much else at the position.

What I like about the Freiermuth pick is that if he lives up to his draft status, they won't have to rely as much on Ebron as a receiving TE. Obviously, they already can't rely on him as a blocker. I think we can all agree that Ebron, for all of his natural athleticism, seems to lack focus at times. I was a disappointed with him last year.

I think Washington would help the offense more than Ebron, better hands & blocking. Freiermuth couldn't get here soon enough.

    Agreed with @jeh1856.

Cannot argue with the players themselves. Both Harris and Freiermuth were 1 and 2 respectively at their positions. Both were also 1st Round Talents; Top 20 regarding Harris and Top 32 for Freiermuth for me. Both will have immediate impact on the team.

That said, please let Offensive Tackle being the first of two picks come Round 4.... PLEASE!!!

Am I the only one not impressed by him? I watched his games against Nebraska, Ohio State and Michigan. He did not exactly dominate. He looks slow coming out of his breaks and rarely separates. He had a very limited route tree but that is likely State's fault and not his. He did not look like anything special in the open field either.

On the positive side: he has good to great measurables, especially size. He is good blocker but seems all too willing to disengage (I presume because he thinks the play is over/past him). Very sure hands and made a couple of great catches in traffic.

I realize that he had a few tomato cans under center while he was there so I am hopeful that his lack of dominance stems from that.

This is the kind of pick where I really will not know how to feel about it until at least a year from now.

True statement they haven't played a snap in the NFL yet. That said I feel really positive about all 3 picks and I believe they should have an immediate impact.

The Ben retirement tour will go on as planned but these 3 are the future. And all were major needs...

One of the picks should be OT and one an OLB. Thin is the word at OLB.
