Guess you missed the “supposedly” right before it. Hard to take anyone serious when they want to comment back like they are some kind of savant when they didn’t even read or take into co text what they are answering.

If they take Harris over Jenkins, I'm on my way to the south side.

Think the Raiders are taking Jenkins. Nope, T Leatherwood from 'Bama.

I honestly have no idea what they will do, but I think for as much as they need O-lineman and a capable back, this Jenkins might be too hard to pass up. He looks like an absolute animal.

I don't like a RB in the first round but if he is as advertised we have to go that route to make play calling easier.

I agree but the Steelers didn't.

    Think they missed one here.

Any player picked at 24 should be good so I don't hate the pick as I do think Harris will be that.

How well did Leveon Bell do with no Oline with the Jets though?

I think going in with Banner, Okorafor, and BJ Finney will be a problem.

Hope I'm wrong but I'm getting the feeling this is the plan.

Or you get 5 years out of him if your lucky and he doesn't get a career ending acl injury.

10 years will make him 34 years old which i think is a bit optimistic. I give him 5 years tops.

But of course I do hope I'm wrong but the stats say otherwise.

I didn't mention Harris.. could have been any RB in the first round.

The average NFL career is still 3 years I think.... unless you taking a QB that can play 20 years...10 years from any player.. any position.. any round.. is a hell of a run.

That's probably true, but I think it's an error to go i to your 1st round pick with a 3 year life expectancy.

While not in the same conversation obviously and a huge presumption, but how many years did Bruce Matthews play?

Not sure if I can name a RB with a 19 year history.

So it makes me happy anyway that at least one mock draft post 1st round has the Steelers picking up Jenkins with the #2 round pick.

I don't think he lasts that long. I love his attitude as he buries defenders into the turf and think his attitude will be contagious. He got one of the highest ratings as a run blocker by pff with 93

So crossing my fingers but not keeping the hopes up as I think he goes much earlier.

Let's hope they get serious OL help today, otherwise their solution for a running game whose foundation is crumbling would have been to slap a fresh coat of paint on it.

I couldn't agree more. They desperately need an infusion of youthful skill on the offensive line. If they head in to the season as currently constructed, forget about a running game and Ben playing a whole season. I didn't like Okorafor at RT let alone left. He's a career back up at best. They don't have a proven, reliable center. Too many question marks outside of Dotson and DeCastro. We don't even know for sure what they had with Banner before he blew his knee out. I hope they take a C/G in round 2.

And DeCastro is a question mark, too. He was terrible last year.

    Actually....

Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord swept the sea back by a strong east wind all night and turned the sea into dry land, so the waters were divided. Exodus 14:21

Moses had as much to do with parting the sea as Tomlin did winning the SB. Tomlin did it with Cowher's players and Moses did it with God. Tomlin and Moses both get too much credit for their accomplishments.

    ;)
