When Ben could throw the deep ball, and his passes didn’t get blocked, he threw like this, notice where the ball and arm are:

By November, he was throwing like this:

My friend you can't take 2 pics ,and compare them.
I promise you I could do this 2 every Qb in the league.
Where they are standing, how the D is rushing, how the window is opening, what position the Wr is on the CB, what touch are you throwing, and how Deep you are throwing all have impact on the Arm.
So 2 compare ....especially 2 pics that we dont know how much different everything in play was , is very hard 2 compare.
Matter of fact I just went and looked at 4 Different starting QBs pics.
If I knew how 2 do this crap, I would show you how different their arms were.
    I'm not trying 2 argue. I promise.
Just stating what I just saw.

Staying in shape is one thing, and is important. But he's got physical issues that dropping 50 pounds won't correct. His knees are shot. Burpees won't fix that. I'd rather him take it easy in some ashram and let the monks do some voodoo shiz on his body. That would help far more than P90X twice a day at this point.

I was all in favor of us parting ways with him after 2020. that said, he took a HUGE haircut to play here in 2021. at $20 million and no future risk / costs, not sure what else we could do with that $$

There’s a very good probability that by Nov 1, it will be obvious that Ben can’t play anymore. Not saying that it’s a certainty, but hanging on a year longer, it’s far more likely that the ugly end arrives instead of some SB happy ending

I wish I didn't agree with you. Some seem to think that his problems could somehow be corrected by enhanced conditioning. I wish they could. But he wasn't physically able to handle last season after supposedly showing up in great shape and fired up for the journey.

Ben is so confident that he's still able, he's convinced those around him of the same. But it takes more than being ultra competitive and THINKING you can do it. He can't.

Like I keep saying, we would be a better offense with any other QB on our roster. I didn't say a "good" offense. I just said better.

    Great googly moogly.

I seriously wondered if someone would say this.

I certainly wasn’t going to show 174,368 pictures over time. These are just two examples of where he was and where he is. And they are good examples.

Last season, this problem was reiterated repeatedly on this highly distinguished board.

It’s a problem. A problem I doubt gets better with another year of age. The only part of me that has stretched out over time is the lump below my man boobs.

    Loved your answer.
I hope you read more than just that sentence though.
I actually have watch every game at least 3 times. His footwork was the biggest change during that time.
Why .???..I don't know, or I'm not sure . I know that non flagged shot in Dallas may have some 2 do with it.

Personally, I was challenged just getting this two pictures up and the text in the proper place.

I would probably agree with this if I understood anything after the first 3 sentences.

This is my concern. Then someone else gets tossed in at QB with an offense designed and grown all season based on Ben. Then everything is out of sync, we falter down the stretch and the #2 QB gets dumped on as not being any good.

I don't think his personal life should be discussed here.
