Najee Harris: Road to the Pros

Just autoloaded in YouTube for me, just got hooked. He has a great story, on episode #2 now

That's great and all, but he's not going to be a Steeler unless we can get him middle of the 2nd round. And that ain't happening.

 

I have a feeling he gets taken earlier than 24,

 

A few of the talking heads on NFL.COM seem to think all 3 top RB'S could be in play at 24.

 

Miami is likely going to do so. Given the fact that there are now rumors in Buffalo wanting to trade up for Travis Etienne, I would imagine Harris would be the final offensive option that Miami could select from.

 

I just saw that on the NFL Network as well. They seem to believe they could be there at #24, but if one goes off the board to early it may prompt other teams to panic and start drafting the others.

 

I could see Harris, Maybe Etienne gone...But not Williams...But what do I know...If, This would happen though...We might have a good shot at Tevin Jenkins, or better yet even Christian Darrishaw!!!!!I Man would I be fine with that!

Based on past history, this is very possible.

 

I wonder how the success of the Titans and Derrick Henry will affect modern thinking on 1st round RB picks.

 

OT is much more important, RB can wait til the 2nd rd

 

If that happens the Steelers had better be working the phones to trade back.

 

Would be dream scenario to trade back and gain another 3rd rounder and get Etienne and a C early in the draft.

They absolutely do. I was all in on center/tackle first round. Now, I'm all in on a difference making RB.

 

Of course that would be great but I think these RB'S are better than in recent drafts .IMO Harris will be gone before 20 I hope Etienne is still there at 24 and the UNC kid may go right behind Etienne ...

 

The experts have stated that its a weak class for tackles. We need a center and can be found in the 2nd. We need a stud running back that can start from day one! Not some decent backs that once in a while can show up. Look at the last 3 years rankings running the football. I don't feel that all 3 years the offensive line was the total issue except for last season. 32nd, 29th and 31st in rushing the last 3 years.

 

Honestly still upset that the team wasted a pick on McFarland last year.
I would have cut Samuels and kept Conner as a #2 RB this season.
You have to go RB in the first , especially since the team took the gamble on Ben to win something in his last season or two.

 

Not sure. If we go by SBs like is used by measure here....can't be much.
