He was driving 29 miles over the speed limit, at 3 am, on a suspended license, with a loaded and unregistered firearm, while high.

This is not a "You don't know what it's like to live in his shoes" moment.

Im sorry Dude. But your post is super dumb.

It’s not a tall horse, it’s not even a burrow. Layne did something stupid, nothing wrong with pointing that out.

Not sure why you are attacking 86wardsway for such an innocent statement but this isn’t the place for that stuff.

You can’t have a loaded pistol in your car without a permit, even if he did he’s most likely a PA resident and the CCW doesn’t reciprocate in Ohio. You can’t have a loaded rifle period in your vehicle. Also you don’t register firearms in Ohio or most states. You
Might have to now in PA but I’m not sure .I grew up in WV so I know what you mean about firearms and how it wasn’t a big deal back then, everyone had a gun in the window of a truck. but brushing up on the laws can keep people outta trouble and not hurt responsible owners. In the end I hope they don’t hammer him too hard because he got caught up near Cleveland and he’s a Steeler

Sure does. I am guessing the Steelers part ways with Layne. CB in within the first two picks seems likely.

Wonder if the failure to appear which led to the warrant was due to the Pandemic. Not an excuse because you still should make sure on any legal summons to check in but I'd hate to try to do anything at the local or federal court level.

I bet they give him another chance, but I bet he gets pushed off the roster by a younger guy. Layne hasn’t shown anything since he has been here.

Agree. Young folks always do stupid chit, I did my share too. It is easy to say what you would have done but never been in that situation. We have some choir boys on here I guess, I was not one of those when I was young. Just didn't get caught and when I did, I got a break.

Apparently he misses a lot of arm tackles. That's not gonna work playing in the pros.

Going to be tough since he's definitely looking at some games suspended. They don't have the kind of roster space to carry a guy, plus another guy to fill in while he's suspended. Unless they think he's going to be another Joe Haden or Minka, I think he's gone.

Those people are called "parents", but too many of these guys grow up with only one.

Nothing is Teflon Tomlin's fault. Colbert drafts, Canada coaches the offense, Butler the defense, Smith the special teams, the players play, and all Tomlin does is win.

In the regular season that is! Then when it’s playoff or end of season failure time it’s clearly everyone else’s fault

Well, I look at it as there is right and there is wrong and it doesn't matter what shoes you're wearing. Its that simple. Enabling is not the answer.

I read he faces 18 months but most likely will plea bargain to something less, I hope. I am not sure if this alters draft plans.
