Kamara gets it. This is rare among athletes. Of course, looking at his grill, he’s obviously spending that endorsement money :lolol:

How do you know? How do you know what he bought or where he lived his first year?

Kamara was a rookie sensation, the endorsements probably rolled in pretty fast.

Yeah I don't know if it's true for Kamara, but I do know, I've read, some guys get deals before they are even drafted.
I don't know how that works ,but I have read about it.

True, theres that, too. I just don’t get doubting the story, seems like an odd thing not to believe. There can’t be an athlete who understands the value of money

The family all get cars and houses, just due to generosity and not from boosters looking to influence the player, of course

I think Gronk said that he spent very little of his actual salary as well. Endorsements paid for a very nice living and he saved / invested his salary. Very smart

i always ask people this question about the lottery. If you won would you take the whole amount at once knowing that there is a bunch taken off that way or would you take the 10 million a year for like 20 years or whatever it is. Most everyone says take it all at once no matter how much you lose off the top. Me I tend to say give me 10 mil a year because I would barely touch the first million and the rest could gain interest then if you do blow it, you get another 10 the following year. That is why I can't fathom athletes who throw it away faster than they get it.

    It's not that tough.

If you've got earning potential, agents are more than happy to front you money then get paid back after the endorsement deals are made.
