Unless mahomes gets hurt than ok KC isn't a lock. Baltimore unless lamar gets hurt to me is a lock.

Told you so, Cleveland signed Clowney for 1 year. This is make or break for them this year.

Cleveland’s window is definitely now, they have the highest active cap spend in the entire league, made possible by rolling over cap repeatedly for years. They are going to start coming up against cap issues after this season, especially if they pay Mayfield. Chubb is going in to his last season,Ward will want to be paid too, big decisions to be made on who to keep.

They don’t have many holes on the roster in 2021, linebacker and corner are their priorities going in to the draft. I know they are still the Browns but they are in great shape on paper.

I’m not a Mayfield believer however, they are always going to have a certain ceiling when he is under center, probably Divisional round. They won’t beat the better teams in a winner takes all shootout because he will give the ball away too much.

    1. Who did you tell??
    2. For the last 3- 4 years Cleveland has signed everyone they can get their grubby little hands on.
    3. It has gained them 1 whole game in the postseason, more than us.
    4. Just one more player they will have 2 cut when they sign Faker Mayfield.

I agree. I think they have the best roster in the division and you really can make an argument they the best roster in the afc. But I got bmore winning it

What about their defense? Corners that don't play & iffy lbs.

Pretty sure that @SteelerGlenn was making the point that both qb's are going to get hurt, therefore "unlocking" both teams. That's a pretty safe bet for LJ and a moderate bet for PM.

Paper Champions looked decent dropping 50 on us in a playoff game.

They won 1 playoff game in like 30 years. Paper champions until the prove otherwise. Plus I thought you were out till the fall?

I wasn't that impressed with them, they benefitted from the Steelers 5 turnovers.

    That is a Huge thing.
Otherwise the Ravens, and the Browns would be way better than us.

This. They are in a window as much as the Steelers are. They either let Mayfield go, or pay him the market rate and not be able to keep others. That is the economic reality of the NFL at this time.

The Browns lost both of their starting DTs from last season, that could be a problem.

They're in a tough spot with Baker. If they protect him with run game and defense and safe throws they can be a very good team, but he's the #1 overall pick in the draft. If they make him the pinnacle of the offense, they're in trouble. If they don't, he may well leave.

Were you more impressed with the team that committed 5 TOs?

You remind me of me in 1980. No WAY the Bengals and Browns were better than the Steelers, or so I thought. It was a bitter pill to swallow, for sure.

Just because the Steelers played like ass doesn’t make Cleveland a great team, they’r not.
