That was a classic game which came down to a Hail Mary by Jim Harbaugh which Aaron Bailey couldn’t hold on to in the end zone. Had Bailey actually caught that ball the Colts would’ve won. But he didn’t and the Steelers won 20-16.

A lot better then the 1994 AFCCG:)

Thought I entered bizzaro world when I clicked on today. I had a dislike in my alerts for my predict the score post against the Buffalo Bills. Supersteelers was not happy with those who picked Buffalo to win. Damn thing is I won that week I think.

That game seems like it was 100 years ago, and just yesterday, all at the same time.

Should have dusted that team, but Neil was such a marshmallow. Finally exposed himself two weeks later.

I think both were edge of the seat games but the 94 game was more of "how can you be that stupid to try that play on 4th and goal." the 95 game it was more like "oh crap they are going to screw it up again"

I remember watching that game with one eye as I was extremely hungover.

I was on the couch wishing I was dead.

I went to this game and I think the temp was in the high 60's in January! Crazy game and still have a picture of Cowher holding the AFC Trophy in my Steeler home office!

'94 and '95 teams were stacked. Better than any team we've had presently since 2010.

    Stacked, except at QB.

O`Dummy was competent, but not one iota of greatness in him. Maybe that was the year management realized how important a franchise QB is in modern football.

    Bring on the hate!!!!!

I still think the Steelers win it all in 96 with NOD at QB. Might even repeat in 97 with NOD at the helm.

    Okay.....roast away

I don't know about '96 and '97. The '96 team took a hit with the early IR injury to Lloyd and Greene's departure to Carolina. The opening game was painful to watch with Jim Miller at QB. Jags dominated the game. The team still had Chad Brown and Rod Woodson... and Gildon was on the rise. Good overall team, but not nearly as good as the '94 and '95 teams. Tomczak was a downgrade from NOD.

I watched the 94 game on YouTube yesterday. I forgot how much they dominated that game and yet came away with very few points. Then just stupid mistakes doomed them. I definitely would have used John L. More in the run game he was just pounding it.

That offense with the addition of the Bus though.....

Defense definitely wasn't as good as the 95 group. But still good enough to beat the Patriots and the Packers if they just had better QB play. No one could stop Bettis that year.
