Steelers draw Seattle for 17th game

I kinda wished the 17th game was the start of a permanent rival/neutral site game kinda situation. Steelers vs Cowboys in Mexico City every season is $$$$$$.

 

I'm all for reducing pre-season games!

Hopefully they trade Russell Wilson before then .

 

Looks like a 5-star match up, because the Steelers are in it.

I'm fine with only one bye week. If a team should get anther one then make them earn it by winning the conference.

Another terrible idea because players get hurt way too often. Swapping out a pre season game doesn’t matter because per season is for backups and PS guys. Starters barely play at all in pre season now. Just another example of Greed over all. Just like the dumb ass Thursday night games.

 

No but seriously the owners are worried about player safety.

 

So will the name change from the NFL to the IFL?

 

I think my goal is to try to live long enough to see the Super Bowl played in March after a 19 game season.

 

Seahawks will wipe the floor with the Steelers if it's in Seattle. We all know how well Tomlin prepares for west coast games.

Lol, as if our schedule wasn't hard enough.

 

The whole schedule is right there in front of you. The game will be played in Pittsburgh. A lot could be riding on this game for the Steelers and also throughout the league. Or it could even be the last game of MT's career as HC of this franchise.

 

I hope it is Tomlin's last game. Steelers are in dire need some new blood and direction in coaching. They are going nowhere with popcorn.

 

Well, it will be impossible for Tomlin to have an 8-8 season this year. He is either going to have a winning record, or a losing record.

 

Thats not real. Thats a simulation of how the model could play out. They haven't even officially announced the 17th game as happening yet (expected to be announced this week).

 

I can already anticipate the fan outrage the first time that 17th game costs a team a postseason berth.
