How are you gonna trade a free agent?

That’s where the “that’s if” part comes in. Who knows. It may change after all of this.

When does the team need to be cap compliant? They will need to fill the 90 man roster with camp invitees or futures contract players.

I was wondering about that a little..... I wouldn't have thought many receivers would test the market with such a strong draft class this yr unless they were the best of the best

Jeffrey Simmons is no pushover in Tennessee. Sadly, he is all they have in their odd man front. Unless Simmons can evolve into J.J Watt, Dupree will likely have a hard time getting the same production he did here.

    Doubt it.

Simply a matter of finances. Keep in mind that in the NFL, a players ability to cash in big is finite; doubly so if they are injured like Dupree. Add the fact that Tennessee likely offered more than others for Dupree and Dupree heading to the Titans was more about the money and less about spite.

One final thing, T.J. Watt is LICKING HIS CHOPS for his payday. No way the Steelers could have afforded both.

Interesting indeed. Ian Rapoport does not specify who but this is quite the development indeed.

Some of you guys really underestimate Bud on here. Last two years guy played at a very high level in both QB pressure and run defense. Highsmith has upside but isn’t anywhere near that overall level right now.

That wold be stupid for JuJu to sign a 1 year deal, unless it is for an ungodly sum. I can't see it.

They can’t replace all this D and a RB OL and TE..... with a couple draft picks. Ben can barely move in the pocket. If TOMLIN wins 10 games next year it would be a miracle.

7 wins would be a miracle at this point.

Why do we only have 2 draft picks :lolol:

They have Highsmith to take Buds place. Sutton can take Hiltons snaps, Buggs or the other guy Chris something are behind Alualu, maybe they step up but I don’t have much faith in that so expect a FA signing or draft pick used on that spot.

I think people are overreacting, Steelers never make moves early in FA. Look at that list of FA available and down towards the end of the list are guys they can afford.

How many third or fourth round guys contribute year 1? Answer is probably somewhere in the single digit percentages

It should be encouraging that neither Juju or Conner have said a thing.
