they had 2.775 after sutton. still have banner and finney to take out of that yet. 3.8 they will get for vince. we have the draft and PS to account for and money to carry into the season for injury. they will have to make some other moves.

At this rate, our defense is going to need some of those cardboard cutouts to have 11 on the field.

Sucks to see Vince go, the last of the guys who bring that intensity the Steelers D used to be known for.

    Our defense is soft.

After the last two days our defense will not only be soft but also stink

Looks like Steelers will eventually be able to sign Watt... and some bargain basement FA's... and that's about it.

Alulu was very important in the middle

    Bud was a star outside

Hilton was one of the best nickel corners in the game

V Williams was a vet who knew the system. Sucked in coverage but good elsewhere.

    This is depressing

The Steelers better have one hell of a draft. Lots of holes to fill, and not much money to fill them.

That’s even if Watt wants to be a Steeler anymore.

The Browns and Ravens must be licking their chops thinking about playing this team next year. They are going to run all over us, no Alualu, no Bud, no Vince, no Hilton.

There is no way you replace that in one offseason, especially with no money. At least they should have a good draft pick in 2022

So I'm (for the moment) a current Steelers' player, watching my bosses cut all my coworkers because they can't pay them. Doesn't make me feel real good about my bosses or the "company" I work for. Being a Pittsburgh Steeler used to mean something (something positive). It doesn't feel that is the case anymore. Who in the hell would want to play for this organization? We can't pay you and we can't offer you the chance at a title. This isn't MY Pittsburgh Steelers. I'm kinda grumpy right now.

They have to replace Alualu and Hilton. They have Buds replacement on the roster.

Little too much doom and gloom for me. I’ll see what the roster looks like when camp rolls around.

We are making big moves in Free Agency! This will help us get a high round QB draft pick 2022.

I hope you are right Blast. The biggest problem is that their depth is gone, a couple of injuries will kill them. Buds replacement needs to improve a lot in run defence, and there is nothing behind him. All the guys they’ve lost were important in that facet of the game.

They only have so many draft picks. I think 2021 is going to be rough personally, unless the offence surprises us

It may come after he signs. However, I do remember fans trashing him early on as a draft bust. When TJ came along he just exploded onto the seen. Good luck to him. He was good for us and a class act. He never once trashed us out of frustration. If I were in his shoes, I think I would have been frustrated early on when fans were begging to move on from him. He will be missed.

I would have kept Smith. I don’t get this move at all.
