This is it exactly. Lev still has the skill. His heart just isn't in it. I'm not sure it ever was.

 

Hard no for me on bringing Bell back. There are very few things the Steelers could do that would make me stop watching. If they brought Bell back I would really consider doing just that.

He was a pain in the ass here. He was a pain in the ass in NY. I'm guessing he was a pain in the ass in KC as well, based off his complete lack of PT.

This guy hasn't figured it out yet. By the time he does it will be too late. The nice thing for Bell is that he has his rap career to fall back on.

It is telling when a player can't even get on the field in the Super Bowl. Bell is done.

 

Conner was a better back the year Bell left.

 

I think this is a terrible idea, but it's better than Ben handcuffing the offense all season. Why not bring Bell back? He'll be as helpful to the offense as Ben will. We should bring back Silverback and see what Dermonti Dawson is doing these days while we're at it.

 

IDK Disco. I watched him play one game in KC when Helaire was out. I'm not even sure which one it was. But LB looked like LB. My hunch is his lack of PT was because Bells selfishness probably wore thin on Andy Reid. I think a motivated Bell is still amongst the best in the league. But like I said earlier, his heart isn't in it. Add to that the fact that he is a whiny batch and I agree with you. He is DONE. I just don't think skill is the issue. Its attitude.

Bell wasn't amongst the best in the league the season he sat out and did not get any better since.

 

Nope. But he played at his full potential until he got paid. Once he got paid I knew he was done. Polar opposite of AB

Depends on the $$$. If he comes in vet min with a small signing bonus... then yes.... worst case he is still better than Samuels.

Disagree. Although $$$ is a major factor, so is team chemistry. I recall reading that Bell assured some teammates he'd show up for camp the year he held out. When he didn't show up those teammates were P.O.ed about being lied to. Signing him now might bring about too much locker room drama.

 

Pouncey and Foster were outspoken about it. But they are long gone. Not that I think it is a good idea
