There have been many I liked and many I didn't care for but the one that always sticks in my mind as amazing was Prince wailing on his guitar in a downpour. That guy had talent.

Probably Paul McCartney or The Who. I'd always hoped to see Van Halen do a halftime show, but sadly, that's no longer possible.

ZZ Top, & Prince. Though I didn't watch the game , I did turn it on at Halftime 4 Prince. Hell half the people they get now , I haven't ever heard anything they've done. Except this year cause he was on American Dad. LoL.

Same here. I either haven't heard of them, or don't know enough about them to care much.

Well this is a halftime show I have no interest in. I've heard of a weekend but didn't know it could sing or get face tattoo's which I'll never understand. I'd love to see these guys that do get face tats around the age of 65+. Gonna be painful to remove.

that half time show was great. So glad I got to see Prince perform a couple times before his passing. I’m not much of a fan, but I remember the U2 halftime show being pretty great as well.

Not my favorite music for sure, but I'm going to have to go with Shakira. because..GOOD LORD SHAKIRA! I'd give my avatar the boot for her.

Edit: I'm officially a creepy old dude

With you there. Wife is huge on the Spanish culture and I was introduced to her in a video years ago. Couldn't imagine what she can do in .......... To be honest if for some insane reason she fancied me, at this age I'd run like hell.

I was a an Officer at a medium security prison when that happened. That one second on the screen almost caused a riot, lol.

I remember way back when I first started watching SB games and they had Mae West, WC Fields and Chas Lindbergh on the stage. Teddy Roosevelt was honored at halftime for his valor at San Juan Hill. I know Ward, Mac and Jeh were tuning in as well. Seems just like yesterday. :drinks:

Isn't that when Amelia Earhart did a flyover before the game and then disappeared?

There but for fortune the Hindenburg (pre-Goodyear Blimp) blew up the day before and avoided a Black Sunday way back when.
