You don't know if the Rooney's forced Noll to retire, his teams were struggling by then.

Bradshaw could make mistakes in big games, but he would make up for it, he was a big game QB.

There is always the perspective from the other side, Al Bundy would not cheat either, but had to be dragged screaming upstairs for annual 1 minute of fun. That's how I am with the Steelers right now, after the first minutes of the last game I was screaming, "Do I have to Peg"

Bill Belichick won 7 games without being able to pass. His greatness is absolutely unquestionable

You will get no argument from me that Belichick is magnitudes better coach than Tomlin. The argument is that a lot of coaching deficiencies can be hidden by good QB. It’s in the playoffs where a good coach can make a difference. During Tomlin’s first Super Bowl win, he had Dick Lebeau and Bruce Arians that did the heavy lifting for him. Now when those two are gone, he has shown to be a very average coach. Not a bad coach, but very average.

I feel very similar to you...I just think that Tomlin has done too little with as much talent as I feel like we have had over the last 10 years.

He will forever be The Asterisk to me (and I don't mean the 19-1 one). Guy has been busted cheating numerous times. I crunched the Patriots stats after getting busted filming practices last year, their games were something like -10pts/game on both sides of the ball after they got caught. And his defensive genius with no-names was magically absent this year.

I mean, after Spygate they went 18-1. The deflategate thing (already an iffy infraction) happened in a game they won 45-7.

If we’re being honest with ourselves... Deflategate was just not a big deal. Spygate WAS, but then they proved they can win without it.

They beat the Bengals anyhow after that media department **** up, and Brady did the late season cliff-fall Ben did this year.

I’m from Boston. I would kind of love for their dynasty to get exposed. To me, it was just the greatest coach and QB teaming at the same time

They also got railed by opt-outs moreso than any other team, comfortably. All that and had a useless offense, won 7 games still

I will give him credit with beating the Bills K gun in the SB but much of the evidence was supposedly destroyed when he was the Pats head coach. I can't remember who he had as a QB for the Browns but he seemed average as a HC.

i think they were still cheating revealed by what happened last year. And that dropoff happened on both sides of the ball.

dont question he's a great coach who had a great QB

I don't know about that, Ol Popcorn will have another built in excuse with an aging finished Ben.

The tale of the tape will be when we hear from Rooney himself.

I will revisit the abilities of Belicheat after next year!

They were promoted cause they were Mike's boys! He bares all the blame for that. He could have hired elsewhere but he did not. He hired them he's responsible for them.
