Eli's already retired. Ben and Rivers will retire this year or probably the next.

Looking back at these 3 as the top QBs of the 2004 draft class who has the best career?

    Some quick stats:
Eli - 2 Super Bowls, 2 SB MVPs
    Ben - 2 Super Bowls
Rivers - 0 Super Bowls, but probably the best stats in terms of yards, completions and TDs, fewest INTs

Eli was part of team that brought down Patriots.

Love Eli and his family for refusing to go to the Chargers. And for beating the Pats.....twice!
Ben is probably the most consistent to me.
Rivers is, by far, the biggest crybaby!

Eli played better in the SB but I believe Ben had the better career. Ben should have been MVP in the Cardinals SB. Any other QB who did that would have gotten the award. Ben wasn’t exactly a league favorite at the time.

    Eli had a better HC.

Eli was mediocre. Guy disappeared for whole seasons. He simply had a HC who knew how to beat Belicheck; and IMO that was probably based solely on knowing how the Patriots were cheating.

Rivers is a regular season queen, the media loves his "passion" but he's just a loudmouthed whiner.

It's close between Ben and Eli. The homer in me says Ben is #1. Rivers is a clear 3rd.

Agreed, and Manning didn't deserve the first of his two Super Bowl MVP Awards. He threw up a prayer into coverage that Tyree caught. Even the escape on that play was overrated. It should have been Tuck or Strahan.

Roethlisberger is clearly the best of the three. It's not close. Roethlisberger was far more consistent than Manning. He was simply better when you look at their entire careers. Rivers may have a slight edge in regular-season numbers, but three trips to the Super Bowl and two victories trump that small statistical edge.

Manning didn't beat the Patriots. His defense beat the Patriots, at least the first time around.

Exactly. That defense held Patriots to 14 and 17 points. Giants scored 21 and 17

I pulled the following from an article on bleacher report. These numbers are all prior to the 2020 season.

We'll start with career records, and Roethlisberger holds a clear edge:

    • Manning: 117-117
    • Rivers: 123-101
    • Roethlisberger: 144-71-1
In terms of regular-season statistics, Rivers has the most impressive resume:

    • Manning: 57,023 yards, 366 touchdowns, 244 interceptions, 60.3 completion percentage
    • Rivers: 59,271 yards, 397 touchdowns, 198 interceptions, 64.7 completion percentage
    • Roethlisberger: 56,545 yards, 363 touchdowns, 191 interceptions, 64.3 completion percentage
When it comes to awards and accolades, Rivers again takes the cake:

    • Manning: Four-time Pro Bowler
    • Rivers: Eight-time Pro Bowler, 2013 Associated Press Comeback Player of the Year
    • Roethlisberger: Six-time Pro Bowler, 2004 AP Offensive Rookie of the Year
But when we get to playoff resumes, Manning and Roethlisberger shine, and Manning has an advantage given his Super Bowl performances:

    • Manning: Two titles, six postseason appearances, 8-4 record, two Super Bowl MVP awards
    • Rivers: Zero titles, six postseason appearances, 5-6 record
    • Roethlisberger: Two titles, 10 postseason appearances, 13-8 record
Playoff statistics also favor Manning and Big Ben:

Rolling with Ben #1 for sure. Far better win percentage, and 1 more Super Bowl appearance than Eli had.

Ben. There are fans who wanted to bench Eli at some point during every year he played.

Is slaying the mighty Patriots in the Superbowl enough? IDK?

Ben, then Eli, then Rivers. River's is too much of a whiner for me, and he never did anything involving a championship, so he's definitely last.

It's hard to compare players. I haven't watched much of Rivers or followed his career. He does have the best stats in the regular season. Is his lack of playoff success due to him or did his team let him down? The win and loss columns don't tell that story. Without that info, I can't state the #1. We all know Ben has a lot of yards and TD's in his last couple playoff games, but if he didn't throw those early TD's, he wouldn't have had to climb out of such a huge hole.

What I do know is Eli is a distance 3rd. Ben and Rivers are far superior to him.

Ben. I don’t much care about Super Bowl mvps, it’s great don’t get me wrong but not a good gauge when judging overall careers, hell joe flacco was a super bowl mvp. It’s just one game, getting to the championship is the hard part, before Ben came we weren’t winning sh!t no matter how much people say our defenses were what won.

Ben-He wasn't all that great in SB's except for the Holmes drive and TD but getting us there he was killing it.

Eli-Lucky with the Tyree catch or Marsha has another Championship.

Philip-Made more babies during his NFL career than playoff victories.

Unless you're referring to something else that I'm not remembering, Ben's 'allegations' came after that Super Bowl. 2010 I think.
I could never figure out why he didn't win MVP for that game.
