He has moved to being pissed off at the lack of fluidity of the offense. Much better than being mad

I think he says stupid things all the time because he can't just come out and say, "we suck and I am not sure how to fix it". Our offense is an example.

Adversity should help this offense recalibrate its playcalling & execution. Tomlin has a point for those who choose to listen not judge.

Meh. We'll see if it translates to the field of play. My guess is no due to other variables. Injuries, no running game, lack of offensive play calling. There's a lot to overcome that simple words just may not be enough for this next game at least. With Spillane out and possibly Haden I think the game turns into a shootout that will be tough to match.

Ok give me his point here. He was mad after we scored 17 against the Ravens. Now he's pissed when we score 17 against Washington. Is it an escalating level of madness? At what point does he actually do something to fix the offense?

I'm obviously mad or pissed, or pissed or mad, or a little bit of mad and pissed, but not at above the line, more of a JV effort of pissed and mad, if you will and things of that nature, control the things you can control like being some what mad and some what pissed.

I'm just really mad and pissed that someone took yellow paint and painted my barn yellow and not red, because if the barn was red I wouldn't be mad or pissed if you will.

Tomlin needs to be mad and pissed not only at his receivers, but at his QB. He has given Ben the latitude he feels is deserving of a future HoF veteran. But, I think HCMT needs to step in and say enough is enough with throwing the ball fifty plus times a game. Yeah, the short passing attack has worked at times, but with an injury depleted defense, multiple 3 and outs and or turnovers are not going to help. This team needs to commit to running the ball and running it effectively or this last third of the season is going to be a disaster.

I don't want to hear any excuses from the weekly "Mike Tomlin Defense Agency". I am well aware of his resume' and I both respect and admire him as a coach and a man. Yeah, I know. Players play, coahces coach, yadda, yadda, yadda. I understand he hires coordinators and lets them do the jobs they are getting paid to do. But, ultimately, the buck stops with him and I think it's high time he kicked some serious ass with his offensive unit as a whole and his HoF QB in particular.

I figure we get away from the 2 yard pass somewhat. Probably a little more commitment to handing off I'm guessing. There is now solid evidence that we aren't untouchable when we stink up the joint.

we'll see if any of that happens. I think we need to run the ball with ben under center as well.

I think this is where he is directing his adversity comment, to Ben & his preparation posse as well as the ball receiving effort being displayed.

7-5 at this point last year

    BB returns, 11-1

Could be worse, could be 10-2, then I would be upset

I don’t think Ben can be singled out for any of this. Receivers are dropping passes at an alarming rate, sure, some of the passes aren’t great but most have been right there.

While I prefer a more balanced attack of running and passing, the short passing game can be an extension of the ground game but not if WR’s can’t catch.

Fix the dropsies and the offense will look much better.

Hence why with the lack of a run game and drops he is throwing 50 plus. Both need to be fixed. His arm is getting tired.

Blast I do feel that the short passing game is being figured out by opposing defenses this includes the play calling. I feel they know his arm is getting weak and the long game has struggled. Couple that with a struggling run game and it becomes predictable

You ain't lying Brother. It's almost comical. This would solve one issue.

You know who else is pissed. Mark Madden. I don't know why, but he was on the radio this morning talking about JuJu like he kicked his dog.

Something personal, but have went down between those two.

Offense has been struggling for weeks. How many games does it take for this recalibration? Have listened to MT for some time now and nothing seems to change. JMObservation.

Would you be upset if the Browns win the division?
