Joe Haden gets in a car accident

To each his own I guess. I can afford to buy whatever I want. I just sold my 17 year old pick up truck and now have a 2014. It does exactly the function I need it to.

 

Maybe a Pinto or a Vega? Lol

 

Years ago a friend’s dad bought a lime green Pinto solely because he thought my friend wouldn’t want to borrow it.

 

I don't think she was a Steelers fan, I think she was from Vermont or somewhere up there. 'Steelers fans' tried to ruin her by releasing her name, address and phone number online. The authorities got involved, it was a mess for her.

If this wasn't Haden's fault, then what would having a driver accomplish? The accident still would have happened.

When you've reached a certain point of experiencing life you get to choose...do I want to impress others or do I just want to get stuff done. Either is a valid choice. You've earned the right to choose whats best for you.

 

Because he can afford to drive one and you can't? The guy got a $17 million signing bonus last year, a $1/2 million car isn't that much to him.

 

That does kinda create anger, which is encouraged these days. Used to be you just said 'try harder'. And it wasn't an insult, it was encouragement.

 

I'm still in my '07 gmc sierra. Runs great but electronic problems out the wazoo. I think i will go with a 70s-80s truck with my next purchase.

 

Rolls Royce will take the car away at night, then make a claim our cars don't dent or get scratched.

What I don't get is you pay 500k for a car and the first time it gets dinged up you see the rusty pipe its really made of fall off.

 

As long as it wasn't a DUI and no one was hurt...I guess I won't worry about it.
