It wasn't pretty, but a win is a win, for the first time in team history they start 8-0

Been waiting since week 1 for this.

 

Team is just having one of those years where it seems everything is going there way.

 

8-0 is great.......

........but, letting Dallas take you late into the 4th quarter, and seeing our defense play terrible, almost letting a 4th string QB beat us.........not so great.

 

I think the key is, that even when it doesnt, we still win.

 

Does not matter how you win them. So long as you do. That said, Coaches need to do better in giving these players a chance. Otherwise, their oblivious tendencies will catch up to them.


For now though, 8-0 with 8 more to go!!

 

Coaches need to wake up though. This game should have not been that close. That goes double for Butler and Triple for Fichtner.

I do appreciate how Heyward, anyone's definition of a grown assed man, came up huge those last two possessions. But yeah, they have some issues that need addressed.

 

I was at the sports bar watching the game, had to wait until I got home to post.

 

Hopefully next week 9-0. Gonna have to play better than today for certain.

 

Beat me to it, Ray. We would have lost at least two of those game. Good football teams find ways to win when they don't have their A game. And, we got some breaks along the way, but Dallas had their chances and didn't capitalize. They were game today, but there are reasons why they only have two wins.

 

Yep, the PI's last week and the roughing call this week that kept the drive going. Not critical, it is part of the game. In the booth they said what not that hard of a hit, while in the pocket the refs are going to make that call every time. You take 'em when you can, and capitalize on them, and thats what they did the last few weeks.

 

That freaking bullrush, he was not going to be denied. its like he determined that he had no pain and just balled it out, that play was epic and was as accountable for the win as any other.

 

They have character. Know how to dig deep like their leader Ben.

 

As long as they go 1-0 every week, I’m good

 

really cool to be at the top of the league.. never expected it pre-season. this team is really good, but odd. you get the feeling they can beat any team.. you also get the feeling they can just as easily lose to any team. we were a play or two late in the game from losing pretty much every game except for the browns and maybe giants games lol. some years, the ball just keeps bouncing your way.
