Halloween candy of your kids maybe? Hehehe. Bacon cheeseburger. hot dogs. Brats. Baked beans. Scalloped potatoes and chips and dip. My dr. won't like this weekends diet. To bad it's ratbird week. Let it all hang out.

I haven’t decided on specifics yet, but in honor of our foe it will definitely be some sort of bird, either charred on the grill or dismembered and deep fried in boiling oil.

Damn game is delayed an hour due to falling back. DST always pisses me off when we fall back. Gets dark to early so I'm going on a food strike in protest or I'll have leftover fresh tuna with rice.

I come to this thread every Sunday to find some ideas for my food for the game.:thumbs up:

    Options:
    1. Home made New England chowder to celebrate the Patriots misery?
    2. Rotisserie chicken from the store to remind me of the over-rated Rat-birds?
    3. Sous-vide venison backstrap to remind that this deer isn't running today and neither is Jackson.

Never thought I would have to google Texas Twinkies. Thought it was some Dallas area gay-dating site.

Seriously considering Haloupki. Can honestly say I haven't had them in 40 years.

The blue collar meal of SB 6x SB champions! Just wonder how many pounds of meat had to be ground to feed the Steel Curtain, especially Ernie 'Fats" Holmes.

Nacho's and Stella at home since game is on tv here. Rather it not be so I can get to my favorite bar for the draft beer.

Be very very careful. This is the type of game you may lose control of your bowels in many different situations. Be close to a bathroom, and at least have air freshener near your beer just in case.

From Granny Clampett's cookbook. I wont eat it,but will certainly enjoy watching the prep by the Steelers D.

    Crow Casserole
    • Remove crow breasts
    • Soak overnight in salt water
    • Boil for 1/2 hour; remove
    • Place butter in a pan and brown meat
    • Place on top of sauerkraut in a casserole dish
    • Put two strips of bacon on each crow breast
    • Cover with sliced onions
    • Pour sauerkraut juice over it
    • Bake 2 hours at 350°

Big day for dead birds- all boneless chicken, in the form of a chicken bacon sandwich and boneless wings.

And beer, of course. Finishing off the 16 oz Elvis Juice cans from Brew Dog.

Kielbasa and cabbage, housemade pickles, red pear for desert. In case of close game, leftover halloween candy binge.
