Noticing a big buzz about the Steelers among the national media in the last two weeks, would have preferred if they had stayed under the radar tbh.

Talk of Superbowl’s is very premature, let’s see what Ben can do first.

Lets see how things playout, I like our team I think they are playoff
caliber. KC looked very dangerous Thursday night.

I'm thinking, if healthy, we are top 5 in the AFC. Should make Playoffs.

Do I think we have the pieces? Hell yes.
But we've had the pieces before. Playoffs? Definately, if Ben stays healthy. But the Superbowl is pretty much everyone stays healthy.

Whole lot of optimism for a team that has been watching the playoffs from home the past 2 seasons, an aging QB who is returning from significant surgery, a backfield that has been mediocre at best the past 2 seasons, questionable OL, young unproven receivers, and a couple of good pieces on D.

Does everyone remember the preseason paper champs, the brownies last year? Where did they go? Not trying to rain on anyone's parade, but I just don't get the crazy optimism. This team has a lot to prove.

Yeah, let's make the playoffs first & then talk about our SB chances. Maybe these guys will be able to keep Ben & his posse focused for 16 games.

It would be @steelersrule6 who jinx/ruins the season before it even starts.

After Ben was lost for the year was probably the first time since he’s been here that I didn’t feel they had a shot.

If his elbow holds up and with this defense, hell yeah I like their chances. There is loads of potential on the offense side, if they meet expectations, it’s going to be a fun year.

AFC is not as formidable as last year. Ravens are the biggest threat. I think Steelers can compete with the Chiefs. Patriots with Newton are not nearly as good. Unless Bills or Titans surprise... Steelers have a good as shot as any of the top teams.

I think Belicheat will know how to use Cam. Not sure if Cam holds up.

    1. The Steelers have as good a shot as any of the top teams? Who are you, and what did you do with the prophet of doom? Is he bound and gagged somewhere being held for ransom?
    2. I’m going to disagree on the Ravens. It seems like every few years there’s a team that looks nearly unbeatable, and is everyone’s SB pick the next year, only to falter. I think that’s the Ravens this year. I think the Chiefs are easily the biggest threat in the AFC because of that proven offense.

If Ben stays healthy and plays well we should be the third best afc team.

I think ravens would like to face us vs KC, and we would like to face KC.

My math sucks but 16 teams in each conference and now 7 make Playoffs. Hell, that is almost half the teams in each conference make it. If Ben stays healthy I'd be hugely disappointed if we failed to make Playoffs.

Off topic but needed a shoulder to cry on today. It has started here in Eagle land. Supermarket full of Eagle fans in gear. They saw my Steeler shirt and were kind enough to tell me we play each other this year like I didn't know this. I live in an over 55 park and there are frigging 5 houses around me flying the Eagle flag. I'm sure I'll hear that damn fight song:(

My friend, our boys need to kick the NFC East in the ass.

Cowboys have a better chance than eagles to win it all. Don’t worry eagles will not win it all this year you can quote me on it
