The League has been quite open about the possibility. I do not like the drama around AB, but I also do not like the holding state the league puts individuals in. Either put him on the list, or do not. They have done an investigation, conclude it and make a decision. Either way we can be done with this crap. If he is exempt, tell him what he must do to try to get reinstated, or if he is cleared do it. Then let a team sign him and have him destroy another organization. I do not give a flip..either way, but just get his crap out of the way.

Actually, he’s just trying to get healthy. There was just a CBS Sunday Morning segment on him. He’s eating right, trying to get his body and brain back to being healthy. He’s not coming back.

Like many of you, as soon as I began to read this last statement of Ab, I knew he couldn't have possibly written this by himself. It's understandable, he used verbs, and it did not kill our brain cells trying to comprehend the message.

I can't imagine a guy acting the way AB acted and finally, seen the damage of his actions and behavior. Someone finally pounded into his thick skull, if he wants to play he needs to pretend to be remorseful. No doubt someone put the words down on paper for AB and told him, this is how normal people apologize or attempts to wash away the idiot they have been.

Boomer said it well when he said AB had the city wrapped around his finger. He literally had no more to do than accept prosperity of being the toast of the town, known throughout the league, endorsements, TV commercials and everyone wanted to cheer him on. That wasn't good enough for this guy.

I do believe he is probably broke or he sees the money dwindling fast. All a ploy to get hooked up with the Patriots. And I really don't think Kraft has enough self integrity to not bring AB back to the team. Unless the NFL is telling Krafty, " if AB comes back to your team, AB will still will be on the exempt list. "
However, we all know what a slime Kraft and Goodell is. Goodell is Krafts punk and will do as Kraft says.

I see AB returning, and this latest apology is the start of his return.

After everything AB said, including stating that all he said earlier in his career was in order to get his paycheck, I would think it impossible for anyone believe that this apology is genuine.....
The entire world knows he is fake now and there is nothing he can do about it

Another attempt by AB's minions to stop his rapid slide into irrelevance. That (and the loss of earning potential), is the worst thing that could happen to Mr. Narcissus.

The signs that he needed someone to protect him from himself were there years ago. But, his posse let AB be AB to the point where he AB'd himself right out of the NFL. So, whether he is really suffering from some sort of post-concussion/CTE related condition, or a simple case of he could no longer fit his oversized cranium into his obsolescent helmet, the only fascination the public has with AB is seeing what the final body count will be of his self adoration.

I have a hunch there’s a lot of behind the scenes stuff going on between Rosenhaus and Goodell. I believe Rosenhaus at the behest of TB and BB is pressuring Goodell to resolve this quickly and with minimal punishment so the Pats can sign him ASAP. This apology letter is probably part of the sales pitch for a light sentence.
If DR can persuade RG to act now and go lightly, maybe 2 or 3 games, Kraft can then be persuaded to sign AB even if just for a few games, when they need him the most.
The Pats dynasty is on its last gasp and I believe they’ll do ANYTHING to get to 7 before it dies. Robert Kraft included.
