Defense played well.

Offense came alive after a slow start.

Special Teams played well other than a couple short punts.

Tomlin coached a good game.

4 games to go and we are the 6th seed. I'd have bet the house that once Ben went down we would have been an after thought by now.

 

Browns have all but been eliminated from playoff contention. All the better. Alex Koroza put it best:

Hard to find anything to complain about. Steelers dominated from the end of the 2nd quarter on. Hodges played better than I expected. Snell was a beast. The big thing for me is that the defense was able to ice the game. That had been missing the last few years.

I can complain about that playcall about when they threw the ball on Hodges interception, that kept Cleveland in the game.

 

going into this game the steelers D was in the top ten in the league overall and after this week I wonder what our ranking will be - kept Mayfield under 200 yrds, Chubb had 58 yrds Hunt 46 fopr a total of 106, 5 sacks

Moreover to the point though. An important one at that. Pittsburgh has not allowed a 100 yard rusher all season. Since the Minkah trade, Pittsburgh has surrended a game in which a QB has gone over 300 yards once; Philip Rivers.



Biggest point of emphasis though?! Baker has yet to throw over 200 yards against Pittsburgh in his career. His highest mark against the Steelers?! 196 today.

More seriously, I wonder if there’s more input on the defense coming from other coaches - I know Tomlin was meant to have more of a hand in it this year. Or maybe players are just executing Butlers plans better?

 

When I first head that Browns players came into the stadium wearing "Revenge" shirts, I had to ask revenge for what?

A. Winning the last game?
B. Because their thug got punished for starting the stupidest fight in the history of the NFL?
C. Maybe they think it's our fault they've had a bad half century?
