Ok I know a lot of us will feel like rookies again with the long off season. But..... It's time to sharpen our game day cooking skills. Brats on the bar b. Kettle chips n dip. Simple first game menu. :smiley1::cool:

I put a couple pork butts in the smoker about 4 o’clock this morning before I left for work.

Frozen pizzas. Preseason is low maintenance.

There are a few new concession stands at Heinz Field this year, selling Potato Patch Fries like they make at Kennywood, which will go great with the Kielbasa sandwich I get every game.

I just now started up Sling TV Blue package which carries the NFL Channel (only $25/mo). Putting the squeeze on DirecTV by cancelling service and expect they will be calling back before end of billing cycle on the 14th. Wondering about how much lag will be in transmission.

No fancy grilling for me. Burger King bacon double cheeseburger and a beer is a gameday meal. I`m cheap and lazy, LOL.

I think we are having tacos. The wife bought the stuff for them on Sunday and if I don't fix them tonight it will be wasted meat and veggies.

Cooked a Tombstone in hopes that every other team dies this season and our Steelers win it all. Doubt I will watch any of the game though until about midnight.

I live in godforsaken Texas. I am poor and can't afford NFL network. Is there a way to watch the game online? Please help! I am desperate to see my Steelers.

Had a 2-3 inch Rib Eye Tomahawk (i.e. with jumbo bone-in) with salad, no carbs with supper. The leftovers will be devoured today when I replay the game again for analytical watching.
