If I were a betting man, I would put good money on a top 5 pick and maybe even the top 3. This is a 2-win team as it stands. I've seen nothing to suggest this team can compete with any other team on the schedule except for maybe Oakland. We could very well be on the clock when the season is over.

If you're right, I hope they don't pick another box safety who can't play the pass or tackle in space.

What do you think we could get for Tomlin in a trade? He's a superbowl winning coach after all right?

With the 9th pick in the 2019 NFL draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select Jarvis Dupree another garbage line backer from future bust university

Even worse...with the second pick of the draft...the steelers choose a RB to replace Bell and not a QB like the NY Giants did this year.
Time to get a real QB that can take advantage of the New NFL flag rules where offense dont get hit anymore.

I am cutting Edmunds some slack... somewhat. He definitley needs more improvement overall as a player as he is still learning. Needs to do better overall in his form though as he has the strength and athletic ability to do so. Add in his speed and quick twitch and he can be used as a deep half shell zone and short to intermediate zones. Again though, he needs to be more disciplined in his technique.

That all being said, not assigning him towards the ROLES Keith Butler drafted him for is NOT HELPING!!

The scheme itself; the style of defense for that matter, is incompatible with a majority of these players.

    In short? Fire Keith Butler.

This may be nuts but I'd get rid of Butler and Finchtner and move on from Ben. Yep I went there.

If our players stink I can’t blame Butler....

We replaced the middle of our defense with scrubs, so why should we have thought it was going to be any better this year?

If this is where we are going with our scheme and personnel to fit it, what could Butler possibly have done? There is no alternate scheme that could save this. The players are average.

If we are truly going toward something like a Tampa 2 we need to truly replace Shazier, get some coverage olb’s, and possibly bring in some new quick DLinemen who can rush the passer. Heyward came from OSU, a 3-4 scheme, to come play our old 3-4 scheme ... it just isn’t working with him and the DL around him.

hahaha, this is not a 2 win team, come on. They will go 7-8-1. Pretty much the D+ grade I have been saying since week 1.

We might actually get a chance at a bonafide playmaker...Oliver, Bosa, Greedy, and White could really change a lot.
