Ditto, Bigger name than most. 3rd offense, doesn't matter if there are no charges or the second one was dropped. I want to see him out for at least 4 games! This is a travesty, look what he's doing for the image of the NFL!

No kidding. The media "cleverly" used a photo of Big ben to "suggest" to casual viewers that Ben was the one arrested--to get them to look, stop, read the story. It's crap like this that just chafes my rear. And mostly because media watchdogs are few and far between.

 

Wow doesn't surprise me they are out to get the steelers....bet ole rodge let's him play week 1 and then suspends him

That is just bull(bleep). What reckless and irresponsible journalism. There are thousands of other pics of Dumervil to use, and i understand its all in an effort to get people to click on a story to read it, but that is just ignorant and sad. Unfortunately ethics in journalism has been on the steady decline with the internet, everyone with a blog wanting to be the first to break a story, facebook, and twitter. Im curious, was this a major news outlet or network, or some blogger trying to get hits on his website ?

Roger will just claim it is all a misunderstanding when releasing the details to the press and then bring up the statement that it was James Harrison who once said that he wouldn't urinate on ole Rog if he were on fire.

Look for Silverback to be suspended from the opener instead.

 

Anybody know when it's reasonable to expect a decision about whether he'll get a suspension or not?

If he doesn't get one I'll complain as much as anybody, but I want to wait until it's official. I believe it took some time after Ben's news broke before his suspension came down.

The easier the schedule is at the begining the better. The oline could be great but if we're not clicking it could turn ugly. I would like to give the offense as much time as possible to get it going
