That's right, a bust. He was virtually invisible today, except for when he was committing stupid penalties and making hilarious mistakes. Bust.

Yep and his 5th year option was picked up too.

I’m hoping once Ola comes back maybe a diamond in the rough can replace him.

Another mistake by the FO. Keeping Bell and Dupree were bad moves.

I was watching him close today. At times he was lost, especially when he was dropping back in pass coverage, at times he couldn't get off blocks, he is just a mess now.

At times he was pushing the pocket and maintaining his contain and the QB escaped on the other side...I guess we all see what we want to see though.

The post game show Charlie had to correct his co-host about McCullers' sack. He tried to say it was coverage, but Charlie said no Dan walked his man back into the QB and there were guys open!

Dupree at this point... but Burns is starting to look like Chad Scott in 2003 season.

An actual bust of Bud (the statue kind that will never exist of him in Canton) would have the same stats as he does.

I think Bud could have been a great player with the proper coaching, but we've got rock star Joey Porter teaching him and we can see how well that's gone. Its disappointing... how much mediocrity has permeated our roster, not for lack of talent, but lack of coaching?

Adeniyi can't get back soon enough. Unfortunately, the Steelers will be 2-5-1 by the time he returns from IR.

Yeah they should have moved Bell. We should have drafted his replacement years ago, and just let Bell walk in FA.

The Steeler FO made their own bed with that one.

Yupp. It was a principle thing with bell and they ultimately mad a bad decision trying to prove a point.

Dupree is more of a disappointment than a bust.

Burns is running out of time I am afraid. Then again, so is that entire 2016 Draft Class as a whole.

Maybe the front office needs to stop drafting projects with the idea that we will coach them up to be all pro's. Our positional coaches on defense are not that good anymore. Dupree was a little raw, Davis was either a corner or a safety, Allen has good measurable s etc. Burns is long and fast but lacks ball skills ,Edmunds is a tweener a big safety or a small LB.

With good coaching all of the above could still end up being very good , with the current coaching I see them regressing .

Didn 't mean to include Edmunds in this lot other than he is another experiment.

Doing so means that players like Jarvis Jones will likely reappear yet again.

Keep in mind that players such as the avatar of my profile were great athletes with potential. Granted, some of these draft picks have not panned out but, more often than not, they have.

Bud is a disappointment at this point thus far. Artie is running out of time; the 2016 Draft Class no less. All good thus far for T.J. Watt. As you said, way too early to determine the fate of Terrell Edmunds.

Ultimatley though, insufficent talent x very young secondary + inept coaching = tough times ahead.

Dupree was getting pushed into the backfield like a rag doll, they game planed perfect for him as on the other side they had to maul Watt to stop him. All this and lets reward this bust with a 5th year option to see if he can finally put it all together. Please, enough already.

This feels like the 80's with one busted pick after another. I was hoping Bud could turn it around.

I was by far his biggest critic all off season. Last week I thought he played ok and there were some things I saw from him that gave me hope. It's looking more and more like false hope and basically he took advantage of a UDFA. This week he was back to Bust Dudpree....
