Is a pretty good WR. Hogan had 128 yards and a TD yesterday on the biggest stage.

Maybe put that silly narrative to bed now.

I'm mortified. A Mod starting a Pat's thread in the Steeler's Talk room? Who's going to police the police? :club:

Hard to believe that he actually played for the Bills 1st and then went to New England.

Like when Wes Welker left the dolphins and went to the Pats.

I thought Hogan looked great when he played for the Bills. I'm still not even sure he has reached his full potential yet.

Look at the RB groups yesterday.

There is no way we should give Bell $15M with the massive deficiencies we have on Defense.

Did anyone else notice him getting destroyed at about the 20 yard line on that last hail mary? It's funny how the rules for PI and illegal contact get toseed out the window on those plays.

Did you notice Gronk pushing off on that hail mary?

Yep. Who knows, his best days may be behind him. He also tends to get injured. We cannot hamstring the team even though Bell is special, we have to look forward and we have a serious cap issue.

Edit: Maybe we can "replace" him with two cheap players. Need a RB very good at receiving. Would also like for us to get a big bruiser so we can get those 3rd and 4th and short on the ground.

The lacrosse player would be invisible on most other NFL teams. Belichick and Brady know how to bring certain guys in with a limited, yet valuable, skill set, plug them into the lineup and utilize their skill most effectively. That's what good coaches do and Belichick is a master at that. That's why it seems that year after year Tom Brady and his misfit bunch of slow white guys and other anonymous dudes are competing in the Super Bowl while a certain team with clear athletic superiority on offense is sitting at home watching.

Believe it or not, players leave the Patriots and still perform well.

Its the coaches that leave and do poorly.

    Hogan is a good WR.

Eh, Welker did okay in Denver with Peyton Manning throwing him the football. But Belichick has a knack for getting the most out of marginal athletic talent.

I do agree with your coaches comment. I look forward to seeing little Joshy McDaniels falling flat on his face once again in Indy like he did in Denver.

You really want to cling to that lacrosse insult :lolol:

Sorry not sorry for blowing that narrative up. Fact is he does play for hoodie and theres nothing embarrassing about him doing well against our or anyone else's defense.

Dont forget about Patricia, I think he is going to fall hard too.

"Blowing that narrative up"?! Man, that firecracker was so little I barely heard it pop! ;)

And Belichick can take his lacrosse player and beat Tomlin with arguably the greatest receiver in football, lol.

We'll see about Patricia. I'm with you, I hope he falls hard too just because he's from the hoodie coaching tree. He just strikes me as one of those guys who's a dang good coordinator but will struggle mightily as a head coach.

Naa, that's just your hearing, they say that's one of the first things to go when you get old :hehehe:

That sucky lacrosse player sure makes a lot of teams look foolish!

Not even sure how good a D coordinator Patricia is. I'm actually shocked he got a HC job.

Yeah, but doesn't he always do that?..lol. That's kind of my point, that no rules apply on hail mary plays. It actually looked like Patriots were relying on that. Gronk was the designated shover, Amendola and #13 what's his name had their backs to the pass waiting for it to bounce off the pile. It almost worked
