The only team I can even think of rooting for Pats to win...

....would be Philly. Yes, as Steeler fan, Pats have caused us endless pain, but that is how big of A holes Philly fans are: I think I will root for Pats to win.

 

If you were Real Steel posting this same message then I'd be really excited.........that perhaps, possibly, the Pats might really lose.

Just like when I rooted for Baltimore to beat the 49ers in the SB, so they couldn't win their 6th. I will be rooting the Eagles, the Pats are the last team I want to tie the Steelers with 6 Super Bowls we won't hear the end of it.

 

Root for whomever you want. No way the Eagles win this game. We all know how this story ends.

Yeah, I don't think I can be bothered with it either.

My prediction is that the Eagles will get out to a fast start, and then the Pats will stage a come from behind win. We haven't seen that one before, after all.

 

I agree I will also add that the Cheats have been finding ways to pull games out(yeah maybe with a little help) we had them and so did the Jagoffs. No way show the Cheats be here but they are but man if Philly plays anything like they did vs the Vikes watch out. One thing I will point out is how ironic would it be if Blount (the former cheat) score the winning td vs them? That never happen it is always the other way around the Cheats get the player and he scores vs them.....

Their is NO way if you are a Steelers Fan that you would want to wish the cheats to win. NO way. Even if you can't stand the eagles fans. Yes, I don't like the way they act but lets not think for a minute their are fans of any team that are not @ssholes. I have seen it at Heinz.

This vile cheating team will tie us with 6 Championships. Yea, that's ok, as long as the eagles and their fans lose. Common man...

 

Really you haven't noticed that a good number of the threads are about the patriots and have nothing to do with the Steelers.

I guess not really but maybe it is cause I am more focused on our off season, coaching changes, our future moves and the draft . I am also not into the what section is for what I let the mods handle that and I continue to try and talk Steelers.

 

I second that!!! during my time in the Military I've run into some really arrogant Bostoners they are on another planet to say the least!!! Personality is one thing attitude and arrogance is another. I guess it' a way of life in that state.

 

F NE, but I have a lot more respect for them than the eagles. I hate Philly and it's completely low class savage fan base. I've been to Boston for work and Philly, both are annoying Aholes but the Bostonians aren't violent savages attacking other fans.

I think we match up much better with the eagles, if we would be playing I'm very confident we win the superbowl. I'm rooting the game doesn't even happen, but if it does the Pats will win because thats what they do. 34-27 foles gets sacked fumbles at the Pats 10 yards with 30 secs left. But most likely eagles blow them out 35-17

 

I am from North Dakota. There are a ton of Vikes fans up here. I knew a few guys that went to Philly. They said it was very scary in Philly. Said they were pushed swore at. Guys were even throwing beer cans at them. Very crappy experience. I wonder what it would have been like if the Vikes would have won. Pretty disgusting if you ask me. I have been to a few playoff games with a Steelers uni on in Denver and KC and was treated decently at least. Still don't know if i could cheer for the pats. I think I will sit this on out. I might watch the commercials.

 

I used to work for a company out of Boston; was up there often. Some parts of town do have some real a holes for sure. But no town is as bad as Philly and Iggle fans.

 

I'm from Illinois so I don't have the same angst for Philadelphia fans as people from Pittsburgh or the rest of the state seem to have have. I don't run into any Eagles fans at all here so it's real easy for me to root for Philly. Having more SB wins is the last thing Steelers fans have to hold onto when it comes to comparing organizations with the Patriots. Philadelphia will never go on a roll like this so I'm not concerned about one SB win. Its just more motivation for next year.

That being said I would post the Bill Burr Philadelphia Incident for you Philly haters but I don't think it would be appropriate.
