Tomlin needs to go, but that isn't going to happen so I won't even day dream about that. What that leaves are the OC and DC. Both need to be replaced. This team is consistently out coached and out game planned. This becomes obvious when they play smart coaches. Even in games the Steelers win, they are often out coached but this team has talent to overcome it. This being out coached is why the Steelers don't blow out teams even thought we have the talent to do that!

Top to bottom the Steelers are a better team talent wise than the Patriots. Yet the Patriots not only blow out bad teams, very rarely lose to them. Look what they did to the Titans last night? Does anyone think if the Steelers played the Titans instead they would have blown them out? So then you have to ask, whats the difference between the Steelers and the Patriots? Its pretty obvious, coaching.

Tomlin is average, at best. I honestly don't think he's a BAD coach, I just don't think he's that good. In big games he seems to panic and made bad decisions. I don't think for one second he's going to be fired. He was just extended, so what has to happen is to surround him with smarter coaches that can, hopefully, help.

Haley. He has drives where it just blows me away how perfect he plays the D. And then the very next drive he seems to totally forget what has worked and just loses his mind and become conservative or really predictable.

Butler. Didn't like this hire when they made it, and still don't like it now. He can't make adjustments to save his life! Falls into the "We do what we do" mentality and doesn't game plan for what the other team does! Correct me if I'm wrong, but Butler was a Lebeau disciple. We need new blood, a new philosophy in there.

Really disappointed and frustrated right now. This is a team with SO much talent and a HOF QB that is on the verge of retiring. I hope he comes back next year for one more run.

While I totally understand your frustration, the question always is who would you have replace them that would be better? And it has to be people we realistically could get.....

It’s not always as easy as firing everyone.

I wonder where these threads were after the team won 13 games? Talk about overreacting.

Regular season wins dont mean much when you have a team loaded with talent. This is a SB calliber team that can't win playoff games with regularity. Any coach in the nfl is going to take this team to the playoffs. The coaches job is to put us in the best position to succeed a and not hurt the team with dumb decisions or horrible or predictable game plans. All Tomlin has to do is get the team prepared.

The 4th down play calls were horrible. The clock management was a disaster. Onside kick and clearly not prepared to properly execute an onside kick was laughable.

Our Achilles heel is the middle!!!! Since big snack left we have not filled that void, Hargrave is not the answer. Fournette owned our D early on then they got warmed up in the second half!!!

Folks this team has had the same problems for like 7 years now. And every year we're told next year will be different but it never is! So I fully expect the Rooneys to continue down this path and continue to assume they're smarter than everyone else.

But you can't be afraid to try! Being ultra conservative isn't the answer either.

What team, besides the Bengals, have had a long term coach and no success?

There’s no over reacting when a team that barley got first downs last week , just put up 45 points on you

Hmmmm.......there's history, but with a veteran QB and team built to win now I would like someone with more experience. It is clear though both coordinators gotta go. Make sure the HC is on board with the selections so if it fails he can go too...

Every team in the NFL is loaded with talent. When will some of you people get that through your brains? The Jags proved they are a talented team. It's frustrating trying to convince some of you people of the fact that every team in the NFL is talented.

Mistakes generally level the playing field. The Steelers had TWO huge mistakes in the game that lead to 14 points for the Jags.

It speaks of ignorance to suggest that any coach could help this team accomplish the same as Tomlin.

I wish I knew what the 4th down calls were so I could make a decision like you did. Clock management in this game, seriously? We don't know how much Boswell practices onside kicks. However, it was poorly executed.

Games boil down to execution by the players regardless of how well they are prepared.
