Loooooong time Steeler fan....which sports radio station?

I have been a loooong time Steeler fan since the mid 70s. Now that I have a job where I can listen to the radio

which station will give me the best sports talk and more importantly Steeler information?

I did google search and found one station but looks like I might need a VPN as I am north of the border.

You can listen to SNR through the Steelers website or you can listen to it through Iheart radio

 

On this subject......I'm usually pretty good at finding " work arounds" for streaming and such but I can't find a way to listen to the game day broadcast. I'm in NY so I understand there's a geo- restriction. I've tried IHeart and the usuals but they stop broadcasting when the game starts. Am I making this harder than it needs to be? I know I used to listen back in the day with my old desktop, now with my iPad I can't listen.
I can use my sons or wife's MacBook if that's the answer......thanks for any advice.

 

Did the same for years... Past couple of years it's all tied up. I'm in Cali... I heart, the fan, wdve, nothing. They got that **** locked down. All sports other than college it appears as I can't listen to the Bulls, or pirates, but I can listen to Ducks games

 

Kinda silly with all the different apps and what not out there....I'd even pay a couple bucks especially for the playoffs...I'm pretty sure if I signed up for a VPN I could make it work but I'm not gonna bother....oh well. Thanks.

yeah i found it very strange I can't access a local pittsburgh station lol. from anywhere for that matter. craziness. im gonna try my VPN now.

You can listen to the game on your laptop, just not a mobile device.

 

You can get 93.7 the Fan on TuneIn radio. Would suggest the 10 to 2 spot with Cook and Poni and the 2 to 6 spot with Starkey and Mueller M-F. Bob Pompeani on Sat at 11 to 2 Laptop or mobile

 

Ditto. I’m outside the Pittsburgh area and living in an NFC town, so the Steelers don’t get much screen time here. I spring for NFL GamePass each season. It has a Listen Live option (with both home and away broadcasts available, but no DVR-like features), but games cannot be watched until a little bit they’re over.

 

I have no problem watching them I just wanted to listen to the local broadcast for the playoffs...thanks
