Yes, I know, I know, I know: They have the same record now that they have had when ending up winning two Super Bowls, Hoodie will make adjustments, and so forth. But I have said well before the season started: The stars will not align for the Pats this season (and they have not). Gronk can't stay healthy (predicted that too), Ammendola won't either. OL isn't good, D is virtually terrible (Winston missed tons of open targets last night. This is our best chance of winning the AFC in a long time.

On an aside, I erroneously predicted Winston would tear it up this year; he was just horrid last night. I mean, just bad, missing wide open targets all night. I don't know if he folded from the prime time spotlight and facing Pats or what, but he was just awful.

The Steelers are not that good either right now, but they have time to gel and become pretty good if the cookie crumbles our way. We get Gilbert back this week, already got Tuitt and TJ back. Pats just don't have it right now and hopefully won't by Dec. either. They still might win their div. but won't be unbeatable.

Big Ben already has told the team that they need to win it for him NOW.

Bigbenhotness has informed us that the last time Big Ben won in Baltimore was 2005 & 2008.

Another note that he pointed out is '05 & '08 was the last 2 times the Steelers had 15 sacks thru 4 games.

Antonio Brown is in the process of perfecting the Gatorade celebration.

The stars are aligning this year, Tomlin will OWN Harbaugh, & he will make cheerleaders out of his critics with his 2nd SB win.

    (I hope)

    BBH is a nut.

In all seriousness it's do or die time. Aside from those stats above, and aside from the fact that we won with Ben not slinging it, and having a TOP running offense with a good defense(which is what we are shaping up to), and aside from the fact we win when pats aren't a threat or knocked out(which may be this year)

    scrap all that.

Jacksonville is next, big game, big test.

I watched the game last night and the Pats could have been beaten. They certainly have many weaknesses, and I doubt they will be able to fix them all this year, but as long as they have Brady they will continue to be a very dangerous team. Not that it's news or anything but that man can straight up ball.

My only worry is if/when w do play them in the playoffs and they are stinking but still are winning at that point, then we will play down to them just to keep that stench alive.

In all seriousness though, We need to take it one game at a time and play focused for 60 minutes of each game.

Do that, stay healthy and it will work out just fine.

I was surprised by how bad Winston looked. His throws reminded me of Leftwich a little bit.

They're not playing their best ball and still winning and we are not playing our best ball and still winning. Don't fool yourself, if either team get it together, they will be dangerous and on to the bowl again!

    Yep.

That release is just ugly. Thought he would improve it throughout the offseason. Guess I was wrong on that one.

Only reason I'm not concerned with the Pats is because we aren't playing them this week. I'll do that later on. This week, I'm concerned with the Jagoffs.

I used the word concerned. The only thing I'm ever scared of is large animals, with teeth, who want to eat me.

From what I've seen of the Pats so far this year, they don't scare me either. What does scare me is the Steelers' uncanny ability to lay an egg when they should be able to win.

They rely on other teams making stupid decisions/mistakes. That's their M.O. and has been for awhile.

Look at the last 2 SB they won....Stupid decisions by the other team allowed them to win.

The Pats defense will come around. They have the same defense as last year minus Ninkovic. And they added Stephone Gillmore who was the best cover on the market. Last year they had the best scoring defense.
The Pats will start gelling middle of the season.
We will have to beat them when they are playing their best ball and i wouldnt want it any other way.
    No excuses.

At least we have upside, both offense and defense. The Pats got problems, o-line, defense, lack of depth of receivers on offense. Their only upside is if by some horrible miracle Gronk gets and stays healthy somehow. It does not look like their year, but now we have the Chiefs to worry about.

Even tho we are playing better than them, if we played them tomorrow they'll probably blow us out again. We have superior players than them, but their coaching is light years better than ours. It's frustrating thru the years of how we can always compete against the Ravens, the Ravens can compete against the Patriots, but we can't compete against the Patriots??

OMG!!! The pats have been scoring points, they just haven't been able to stop anyone. The Bucs have a solid D that is good against the pass and stout against the run but Winston, and I said this before, is WAY OVER RATED!!!! He has been nothing but inconsistent and struggles against tight coverage schemes as he isn't accurate enough to throw in tight windows. The Steelers right now will still lose to a bad Pats team, sorry but we got 1 good cover CB who is past his prime, and Artie Burnt can't cover man to man without giving up a big completion or PI penalty. I'm saying our defense is nothing but frauds and I'll say it until I see them play against a good QB because I'm still seeing those 3rd and long coversions look way to easy with scrubs let alone a good QB. The only way this team beats a bad Pats team is if Ben gets better and the o-line and Bell are healthy and play out of their minds because this D isn't stopping anyone unless they keep dropping passes or fall behind far enough they become one dimensional like the Ravens. Yeah, I'm a downer but I'm a realist, I keep listening to everyone about how good the defense is playing and when I go back to watch the previous games I see 5 legitimate sacks that were less than 5 seconds in the making, give a good QB that kind of time and once again it will look like there is no pass rush, I really, really hope I'm wrong but the second this team plays a good QB the points will ring up like a pin ball machine, mark it down.

As said, this team needs to look at the task at hand, this Sundays game. Until they are knocked off, the Cheats are still the team to beat...

Dangerous words. Until proven otherwise: Patriots = Steelers kryptonite.

As long as Darth Hoodie and Golden Boy are roaming the sidelines, the Evil Empire should always be feared.
