I have to admit I wasn't a fan of the Steelers drafting them in the spots they did, I wanted secondary help in the second round and I thought Conner was drafted 1 or 2 rounds too early. With that being said it's good to see them contributing early in the season, JuJu has more TDs than AB .

I was surprised at the JuJu pick, wouldnt say I was angry but I quickly fell in love with the pick as I brushed up on him.

Hes going to be an important cog on this team and a good redzone target.

    Liked Conner. Loved Schuster.

Conner is not going to transform into Bell anytime soon if ever but does give us a reliable option should anything happen with Bell.

Regarding JuJu, as I have been on record since the day we drafted him, he solves so many issues this offense has by himself. I am not even accounting for his redzone capabilities either.

I was really hoping, Tomlin would have gave some of the late carries in the redzone for Connor, and give him a chance to get his 1st NFL TD.

Pretty tough for Connor to see the field unless Bell needs a breather.

Tomlin also seems to like how Watson hits the hole in 1 yard and less situations.

I don't understand how people didn't like the JJSS pick. Same people that overhyped our reciever group saying Coates and DHB were good most likely. JuJu will be the 2nd best WR on the team by the end of the year . JuJus tape was excellent how were u not a fan ?

I didn't like either pick; I wanted CB badly in the 2nd. I thought WR wasn't a high enough need to use a 2 - they have proven masters at making mid or late round picks work out at WR (AB, 6th; Hines, 3; MB, 4th; etc.) and I thought Conner was a reach at 3, mostly because of his local hero status. I will be happy to be proven wrong on these picks.

I didn't say I wasn't a fan, I watched JuJu play every game in college I'm a USC fan. I thought they had more pressing needs in the second round.

Bell scored twice, there was no need to get Conner in the game in the redzone.

JuJu was a BPA pick, and that's what smart franchises with long-term vision do in the situation that the team was in. They don't reach for need if there aren't any players available at positions of higher need that they have high enough grades on. Once a team starts reaching, they've begun to fill their roster with lesser talent and are bypassing better talent. That can only lead in one direction in the long run: downhill. It's been well documented that there was a huge run on DBs in the 2nd round. If the team didn't have a high grade on the remaining DBs, then it would have been foolish to stubbornly say "we're taking a DB no matter what."

Yeah, I wanted a DB there as well. As our pick was approaching, I was watching both Obi and James Jones slide down the round, and it looked like one might be there. It didn't work out that way. On my board there literally wasn't a DB left that I had better than a 3rd round grade on (Cam Sutton and Jourdan Lewis). Once Jones was gone, I was saying "don't reach for what's left at DB." I think the FO made the right decision.

Also, I'm not sure how anyone can say that WR wasn't a position of need. It may not have looked as needy as DB at first glance, but who did we really have behind AB and an uncertain MB? A bunch of "maybe" guys, but no great talents. JuJu is a talent.

Conner was a surprise to me where we picked him, but I'm happy that he's on the team. He shows promise.

It’s funny how people want all defense yet we can’t score crap lol. Red zone targets like juju are what we need. Then again bad play calling and bad ben doesn’t help

The JuJu pick was justified due to the uncertain wide receiver corps. Easy pick.
The Conner pick was needed for not only development, but a solid #2. Also in case of Bell holding out for an extended period of time. Don't be surprised if Conner is the starter next season. Easy pick.

agree on the need at wr. he's a very talented kid. we had good solid players at the position but they could be upgraded and we did that with a kid with much higher upside than we had. RB also had solid players but same thing with that spot, a better upside was drafted.

On my draft board, I didn’t have an offensive coordinator graded higher than 6th-round.

Any situation where a croissant is you backup RB is not acceptable, as if he even makes your roster, your RB unit is thin as paper. Thank God they addressed the unit. But I would have preferred Hunt or Cohen, but we shall see.

Hope so, I just picked him up on my fantasy team. Julio Jones has a bye week, but he’s having a down year so far.

Picked him up the week before. Playing him Sunday, think he will have a score maybe two but Jags have given up very little passing TD's.

Hoping the focus on AB and Bryant frees him up.

Hines Ward threw a hiss hit every time we drafted a receiver. Just saying....
