At times like this the other OLBs will follow the lead of JH92, and if the Miami game is any indication, he is laser focused.

Olsavsky will pick up the duties fine I'm sure.

Like I mentioned in the "Porter Arrested" thread, I think Colbert should call Greene this offseason and bring him on. Just don't think the Rooney's put up with how Porter handled the police in particular. Irregardless of the arresting officer's dubious background as some are claiming.

Nothing will be changed until the offseason though imo.

 

Here is the list of charges, aggravated assault, simple assault, resisting arrest, public drunkenness, and making terrorist threats , for sure he will keep his lawyers busy clearing this up, and probably get most of these charges dropped in my opinion, because I dont think he is a terrorist ha,ha: it just doesnt reflect well on the steeler organization and he most likely will be fired ending his coaching career.......

Those were dropped. That's stems from where the doorman said last time you were here you threatened to kill me. I think most of he charges will get dropped or lowered in the end.

 

Back to the OP - I'd have Greene coaching here in an instant. I was gutted when he went to coach for GB, and even more so when we had to endure the NFL Films version of the Superbowl where he tells Matthews to get after the ball and then the fumble happens.

 

The terroristic threats charge was dropped.

What's funny about this is I too was surprised as heck to see him there and then mad that he wasn't here. Then not to long after that I was watching a bowl game with Colorado St and they showed JP and I wanted to see him back here as a coach. It happened and I am glad it did but I am just upset it had to end like this. I would love to see Greene step in now in a full time role, but am not sure if they will bring him in. I could see him being a big plus for our young guys and to lose a coach at this time of year can't be good.

 

I think Harrison could player coach the OLBs for the rest of the playoffs, we already have a good middle backer coach, and if he retires with a coaching job on the table I think he would take the job full time in a heart beat...........
