One of the best hits I've seen and the reason why I don't watch the NFL (other than Steelers). The two best hits in the game were both penalized....lame.

That's what my wife said. She never takes it very well when any player (regardless of team) gets hurt.

 

That hit was epic! I'm starting to really love Dupree.

 

Ditto, while he was still laying on the ground, I turned to my wife and said "I hope he's not dead".

I know I was holding my breath. Moore is tough as nails. He went right back out there after being checked out like it was nothin'.

 

One play is really not enough to determine if a player has a concussion. Moore is tough but that was a dangerous situation.

 

It is hard to believe that Moore passed all concussion tests and was back on the field that quick. Fins must have hired the bungles med staff. I hope it wasn't a mistake and he ends up having a more serious head injury. At any rate, Matt Moore gets props as a tough sumbitch.

Yeah, those of us at the game were asking why he was allowed back in. I just can't see how he was checked out that quickly when it appeared as though he was totally out on the field.

 

I was very concerned that he may have been done for his career. That hit was brutal.

Take the 15 yards if you have to but I would love to see Brady hit that hard by Dupree, or any other of our guys on D for that matter.

 

That would be awesome! No way Brady gets up from that hit.

 

On the TV they said he's been hit in the jaw.... I actually thought Dupree did a reasonable job trying NOT to hurt him... it looked like he was going for a wrapup tackle... Moore lowered his head at the last moment and thats when he took it on the chin. I honestly think Dupree was trying to *not* blow him up.

The wikipedia hack was hilarious though

The way I understand it is getting hit in the head alone isn't reason enough to enter concussion protocol. You have to show symptoms of a concussion. Apparently Moore was down because his back was hurting. At least that is what I heard.
It's a fine line. You want to be proactive when it comes to player safety, but at the same time you don't want games potentially being decided by rushing to put players in the concussion protocol.
Seemed a little fishy to me though.

 

Was curious how the fins fans were reacting to Dupree's hit so I checked out some forums. Same whining and beeyotching over there that we get here. Dupree is dirty, Ajayi got screwed for the little tap on the back, no way Ben could get up from that, f*** the Steelers, so on and so forth. Pretty comical as i didnt even realize the fins had any fans.

 

The funniest thing I ever seen on a player's wikipedia page was when Terrelle Owens page was obviously infiltrated by a disgruntled eagles fan. It said that his name was "Terrelle Penis Owens and he was a seller of weapons like AK-47's to children". LOL!!!
