    So, we're 4-3 heading into the bye and it's still too early to elaborate playoff scnarios.

    Possibilities:
    12-4 or 13-3 will absolutely lock the division.
    At 11-5, we'll most likely either win the division or a Wild Card

    At 10-6, it's s bit risky to guarantee a playoff spot: depends on too many factors right now. Very probable to make it at 10-6 with a sloppy AFC (AFC North in particular), but, as said, risky.

    So, it looks that we'll need to go 7-2 to make it (or 6-3 and depend on some other results).

    Remaining schedule:
    • 9 total games vs 7 different teams
    • 4 at home / 5 as visitors
    • 5 division games (3 as visitors)
    • 3 teams with winning record (DAL, NYG, BUF)
    • 4 teams with losing record (BAL, CIN, CLE, IND)
    @BAL (3-4)
    DAL (5-1)
    @CLE (0-7)
    @IND(3-4)
    NYG (4-3)
    @BUF (4-3)
    @CIN (3-4)
    BAL (3-4)
    CLE (0-7)

    Do you see 7 wins there?

    Pick your 7 wins!

    I do see 7 potential wins. But I'm looking at this and thinking 6.

    Ravens are no good this year but I don't know if a win is guaranteed in Baltimore given the conditions. If a W then yeah 7 wins. I think Steelers lose in Buffalo because it just seems like that game we would lose, split Cinci by losing @Cin, and possibly losing @ Baltimore in two weeks. Also possible losing Big Bens first game back (unless its @CLE) so.. lots of ifs.

    Dallas seems like the game to be scared of and for some reason itll be the one we win most easily besides the browns. Whi if beat us wouldnt surprise me.

    Cant really see getting 7 tbh.

    I SEE 5 WINS.

    We've got the Browns and Ravens twice. NO way we beat them both twice. so that's 2 losses.
    Cowboys will beat us easily.
    Buffalo and Giants will likely be a split. Not sure which one beats us but doubt we take them both.

    = 9 wins 7 Losses (it's possible we beat the Giants and Bills, which would put us at 10-6)

    We will win the division with 9 wins. Then get knocked out of the playoffs easily in game one. Sorry but I gotta go with what we've basically done the last 5 years until Tomlin and co prove me wrong.

    If we can't beat Cleveland twice, we don't deserve the playoffs.

    @BAL (3-4)-W
    DAL (5-1)L
    @CLE (0-7)-W
    @IND(3-4)-W
    NYG (4-3)-W
    @BUF (4-3)L
    @CIN (3-4)W
    BAL (3-4)W
    CLE (0-7)W

    I could see this happening. But we have to improve.

    Yes, it is possible to win AFC North at 9-7 (or even at 8-8 with multiple combinations). However, it's too early to enter into that debate.

    I hope we win 7 because I win $3,000.00 if they win over 10 games, but I'm afraid there might be only 6 wins on that list. If we can sweep our division that gives us 9 and puts us in good shape to get to 11 wins, but we need to sweep the division.

    You guys are crazy if you think any win is guaranteed, let alone division games against hated rivals who want nothing more than to destroy our playoff chances. Cinci is going to be very tough, Baltimore will be tough and even Cleveland will give us a fight.

    We can win 7. Hell, we could win out. We could also throw up another 4 stinkers this year and lose a couple close ones. We've seen that before from this team.

    Seven is not impossible but is not absolute either.

    I would say Steelers will capture 6 wins. The AFC North is no longer the defensive powerhouse it used to be. All three teams are just plain poor and are either regressing or rebuilding. Pittsburgh is in prime position to win it...

    .... in the same token.. they are also in prime position to lose it as well.

    I am sorry but I see 8. when you look at yesterday as a whole. we played probably the top team in football a pretty damn good game without ben, cam, gilbert, Williams, basically shazier and coats. davis didn't play and multiple others. the pats were all healthy. I have always been a glass half full guy but if the call on hubbard isn't made and we score there. make just 1 of our missed fgs. who the hell knows.

    I know that is all part of the game and there are some what if's in there but I still think we are in good shape

    Actually that's not true. We could lose both to the browns and still deserve to make the playoffs.

    I'd bet it will only take 6 to win the division (as long as they win all but one division game). Won't be good enough to get a bye though.

    I see 10-6

    I have us going 11-5. Got my fingers crossed. I know Mike Tomlin will lose 2-3 games
    a year for us.
