I understand what your saying but I disagree. We have talent up and down this roster and we were once one of the oldest teams out there but heck we have tons of youth on this team. My problem is it don't matter who we have as a D cord Lebeau or Butler we look the same. I think it is time to scrap the whole defensive side of the staff and start new. Also at some point Tomlin has to figure out if we are a 3-4 or 4-3 or a so called hybrid and start getting players for that system. We keep drafting good WR's and the last few years we have drafted the much need defensive side of the ball. Also injuries are killing us Ben, Shazier, Bell and of course suspensions as well.

Honestly when I saw Ben this summer I said this is the year, this is the year of Big Ben. I really feel we have a 3 year window where with the guys we have the core guys we can be a dominant team. At some point we have to get this defense figured out and I think it start with the staff. I also think it is time for this so called 30 point a game offense to step up and carry this sad defense. I just think blowing up this team is not a good idea when on any given Sunday our offense can put up 30-40 points. jmo

So Ben is going to miss maybe 3 games... so we should blow up one of the best offenses in the league... because our young defense isn't good yet.

but wait for it... we'll just draft guys in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round. That will solve the problem.

    ahahahahahaah

Here's an idea... instead of fixing the defense with more draft picks, maybe we could just wait for the 2 best players on the defense to get healthy.

I just don't like a Team that is so dependent on 1 player...Would you not rather have a Team that can be really good no matter which 1 player goes down ? When our best 2 defenders get back this D is still at the bottom of the NFL ...Reports are Ben could miss 4 to 6 weeks we will not win a single game while he is gone, Reports he had other damage in there he will not be playing much longer and the Team will have to decide how to rebuild ?

I say we go Defense and running game Teams are showing you can win with that with 2nd. and 3rd. tier QB'S...If we keep all the weapons and have a 2nd. or 3rd. tier QB with this horrid Defense we will be a 6-10 Team until we find a Ben like QB ...

We simply arent. Do you need a reminder of our record without Ben?

We are dependent on a core of players... Ben, AB, Bell/Dwill, Heyward, Mitchell, Shazier, Oline.

Losing multiple players from the top of your roster impacts any team other than the cheating Patriots.

Yea, that's the team we have. There's a difference between 1 core player going down... and 4-5 of them going down.

With those 2 defenders we hold teams to ~16 points per game

Rebuild talk is utter nonsense. get a grip

Yea, Kansas City has a ton of playoff success....

I don't get it every year we are one play away from needing a back up QB. Other teams have adequate back ups. We spend draft picks on players who are consistently getting hurt. Then we beat the hell out of each other in training camp. It's time to quit what we are doing and take a hard look at everyone and everything and make some serious changes.

I agree with most of what you're saying but would respectfully disagree with your "loaded with talent" comment. Offensively, yes, we are loaded with talent. But I think we have a major talent deficiency on the defensive side of the ball. Whether it's from bad drafting, bad coaching or just bad luck that we can't seem to field players who can avoid injury, we have issues at all three levels on defense.

Get rid of all our good players, so we can go out and hopefully if we are lucky get other good players?

Our season wouldn't be over if the Rooney,'s would stop micro managing that team and get a good backup QB. Ben is not getting any younger.

Saw an interesting report that team doctors have said that Ben risked further injury by playing in that second half and dispute advice Ben had received at halftime that he couldn't injure his knee any worse.

It is this sort of general incompetence that has plagued this team from top to bottom the past few years. Just a bunch of stupid BS going on.

Funny part is that in recent history, he hasn't been playing that part much anymore. Maybe our little boy is growing up?

I haven't talked about this much but the decision to put Ben out there with 50 seconds to go was just plain stupid. Tomlin needs to be made aware how dumb that was, we had no chance and with Ben's future up in the air why not give Jones as much reps and possible in a game we were gonna lose anyway???? Dumb dumb dumb, these are the kind of decisions that really make me wonder WTF is MT thinking......
