Kevin Greene

This picture probably has already been posted, but how awesome is it that Greene, after only playing 3 years in Pittsburgh, totally identifies as a Steeler. My family was at Hollywood Studios in Orlando about 6-7 years ago during one of the Star Wars weekends. My wife looked at me and said that guy over there has to be somebody. I look over and there stood a mountain of a man with that blonde hair and I was like, 'damn, that's Kevin Greene'. She wanted me to go over and talk to him and get a picture but he was with his family and I refused to bother him. Loved his speech tonight. He kept saying that he was allowed to affect the game. That was a very unique way to take credit for his contribution.

Very nice speech by a heckuva a football player. Those were entertaining years
when he and Lloyd played, I would love to see that type of defense again? Attack rush the QB.

 

Does anyone remember that Lloyd wasn't initially happy with the Kevin Greene signing?

 

that bust was awesome. so was the speech. GL wasn't usually happy with anything.

 

Those two were my favorite pair. "Quiver and Quake". Just not sure who was "Quiver" and who was "Quake". Lol

 

I remember Kevin. What I remember was his enthusiasm for the game and playing for us was a natural fit.

He really loved playing, similar to Hines attitude.

 

Missed the presentation live, went to NFL.com and they had the full Favre speech but only highlights of Greene's. I'm sure its posted somewhere.

I've not got to see the bust yet but did it have the sweet, flowing, Kentucky Waterfall that Kevin had back in the day?
