Predict the Steelers record for the first 4 games

Two years ago when the Patriots best the Seahawks in the Super Bowl, they were 2-2 and just got hammered by KC 41-14 on Monday night...apparently they were pretty lousy in their first 4 games and it worked out just fine for them at the end!!!

I hope the Steelers defense can stop the Chiefs running game, unlike last season.

 

I went 3-1 which would be okay with me. I divide the season into quarters and 3-1 each quarter gives you 12-4 which is where I think the Steelers wind up this year. I got lucky with the Pens this year and took my $4,500.00 winnings and bet $500.00 on the Pens to win the cup next year at 10-1 and bet the rest on the Steelers. I put $1,000.00 on them winning the SB at 10-1 and $3,000.00 on them winning more than 10 games this year. I feel more comfortable with the over bet than the SB bet. Too much can happen to keep them from going all the way. Injuries can screw up any season but maybe this year they get by without any crippling injuries.

 

4-0 simply because we are better than all of them as long as ben is healthy. as long as the defense improves a little, we go 14-2

I see more so of the Chiefs being the issue considering Reggie Nelson has gone to join the one eyed marauders.

Week 1- L Horrible vibe about this game
Week 2- W Cincy is not winning this game in Pittsburgh after last January.
Week 3- W Bradford/Daniel/Wentz is not beating us
Week 4- L KC will win 12 games this year; this will be one of them

 

People forget we lose to bad teams lol

 

2-2 with losses to Redskins and Chiefs. Steelers seem to always come out flat in the opener. We will outgain the Skins by 250+ yards of offense, but make enough mistakes on both sides of the ball (penalties and turnovers) to lose. Chiefs will upset us at home... they will get a FG in the last seconds of the game to win by 3.

I can't remember the last time the Steelers were truly dominant in the opener, besides the '99 opener vs. Cleveland who was an expansion team at the time. That Steelers team went on to go 6-10.

 

Would be nice to bring this phrase back.

But 3 of these teams were in the playoffs last year, no bad teams in this 4 game line up, predicting a 4-0 start borders on fantasy, even my 3-1 prediction isn't a safe bet...........

 

I have better fantasies than that.

 

Anything less than 3-1 is a disappointment, this team is capable of going to the super bowl
