So based on your doom and gloom hypothetical question then I would ask....how does the Patriots overcome the loss of Brady for 4 games?

While I agree with which way you're leaning. I'll be devil's advocate and say by playing in the afc east.

Again? WTF?! He had the suspension last year and now for a missed test? Bryant was bad enough. Silver lining is he gets another 4 weeks to heal and misses the Bengals game.

Edit: also, looking to be like a bargain price on the contract negotiations. No one is going to give him $10M plus with a season suspension hanging on the next offense.

Yes Blitz...the afc east really does suck. However the defenses in that division are pretty darn good. Plus we play the two worst teams from the nfc east, the bengals at home and we can beat them as we have shown last year without Bell. The Chiefs won't be a easy game at all, but their offense is dreadful and last year we lost to them because Landry was starting his first ever nfl game of his career in arrowhead. I like our chances to go 3-1 at worst!

110% agree. And if Pouncey still has it, D will has even more opportunities than last year

Stop. Its really only one. We played half the season without Leveon last year and made it to the AFC Championship game

Beginning of the season isn't what I'm worried about.. A third straight postseason without Bell would doom the season.

As far as this season goes, the loss of Le'Veon for the first four games is almost a non-factor for me. De'Angelo will step in, Fitz will step up, Ben will throw the ball all over the damn field . . . we'll be fine.

As I've said before, the thing that concerns me the most with Le'Veon is inching one step closer to the year-long suspension. When you've got a Josh Gordon on your hands, you're screwed.
