Steelers signed CB Donald Washington.

Washington, 30 in July, appeared in 32 games for the Chiefs from 2009-2012 as a fourth-round pick, but had been out of the league since being slapped with a three-game suspension in October 2012, resulting from a DUI. The Steelers are leaving no stone unturned as they look for cornerback help. May 9 - 10:24 AM

 

He's been out the league for a minute. Hopefully he can be a camp surprise for us. He's 6-1 inches and weighs 197 pounds. Good measurables. Love the depth we are trying to establish.

Yeah, a guy who hasn't played in the NFL in 4 years.

At least at Hamilton he wore the same colors. That's always a valuable indicator when looking for depth.

They also signed running backs Brandon Brown-Dukes and Cameron Stingily, and wide receiver Marcus Tucker. They released running backs Christian Powell and Rajion Neal, wide receiver Tobais Palmer and cornerback Isaiah Frey to make room for the four guys who were signed.

Don't forget, this is the 90-man roster we are talking about. These guys are longshots to make the practice squad, let alone the 53-man roster.
