Just to be clear as mentioned in the OP Im not a fan of johnnies, I honestly don't think he'll clean himself up anytime soon. I read an article suggesting we go after him and even though he made some good points I wasn't sold on the idea.

I just wanted to see how ya'll felt.

I just read that his AGENT said he is no longer representing him. That is huge, if your agent dosent want any part of you, you are done. It is no longer about football with manzel, it is now if he lives or dies, from his actions.

This is rock bottom for Johnny. Dad tells the press that he won't goo to rehab, and wonders if he'll see his next b'day. His agent cuts him loose. The Browns will too, when salary cap rules allow.

At this point, it's not about an NFL career, it's about surviving his demons. I hope the kid gets help, and can turn his life around. If that process reopens the door to the NFL someday, great! But that's a long ways down the road. Here's hopng he doesn't waste his life.

Jerry Jobes will probably still sign him. Al Davis would have.

Poor Cleveland, they wasted a 1st round pick and then the latest dirt comes out while they were trying to trade him. Now they will get El Zippo.

    Never mind, #€¥% Cleveland.

I would wait for Manning to announce his retirement, then call im right away and ask if he would want to be Ben's backup?,, this way he can teach Ben some basic common sense skills, and they could keep him around as a QB coach so he can teach the future QB.

How did the Browns NOT know he was a serious head case ? I mean who spends a 1st round pick on a guy that is so out of control he might not live to see his next Bday? Addiction is not an easy thing to cover up. It's usually obvious to most people, other than the addict. And everyone on earth knew he was a head case.

We've made some bad picks over the years but not like the Browns do. Bryant could go down the same path. Lets hope not.

I think weed is much easier to control than alcohol . I doubt Bryant has a problem , he was just stupid at the time he has a good head on his shoulders, I'm not worried about him smoking pot ,,I'm only worried about his rubber hands.

The clowns just cant get out of the rut they stay in when picking 1st round QBs, or signing coaches, in this case Hugh Jackson who already has failed with the raiders who was a team very similar to the clowns in lack of talent and leadership, so the musical chairs continues in search of a quarterback and a head coach, if jackson makes it for two years without being fired I will be surprised, and they dont have a solid quarterback to start this season, just another episode in as the browns turn....

Jackson was given one season in Oakland and finished 8-8. If he can go 8-8 in Cleveland before 2020, they'll throw him a ticker tape parade. I think he was actually a pretty good signing. Uncharacteristically good for the Browns. Too bad his bosses are a baseball guy and a lawyer. Stupid Haslam... lol

If we pick up Johnny don't you think we should consider Ray Rice? Isn't Pac Man a free agent too? I love this "outside the box" thinking!

if he continues to drop the easy catches I won't worry about him getting banned,,,he could use the year off to work on his catching
