THE PEOPLE v. O.J. SIMPSON: AMERICAN CRIME STORY

That's for sure SS. I was doing work in the Brentwood area during/after the trial and found out that the restaurant (Mezaluna) that Ron Goldman worked at where Nicole had her last meal had already filed papers for bankruptcy just prior to the incident but then became one of the biggest tourist stops in LA for the next 2-3 years and after all the dust settled went out of business. Crazy.

 

The crazy thing about OJ is that he also had beaten the crap out of her and that was on record too. I'm pretty sure they even played the 911 tapes to the jury of him saying he'd kill her and stuff like that and those morons still didn't have a clue. You're right about Starks. He was a punk. LOL! Oakley was worse though. I think he just really hated the fact that Jordan was the true savior of the Bulls. I think Derek Harper was an ok player for them too. Reggie clutching out those quick 3's is still an all time sports highlight. If I had a gun to my head I'd say he was the best player to never win it all. There's a strong case for Malone and Stockton but Reggie never really had that sorta dynamic duo partner like they did. Mark Jackson was ok but he wasn't nearly as much of a threat as Reggie.

 

I watched the REAL trial. That was all the OJ I Needed.

 

I hope they catch the real killer someday.

 

Apparently, he's still on a golf course somewhere.

 

They did. He's just in jail for sumpin else.

 

Without OJ to carry the torch and look for him, it will probably never happen.

It was my senior year of high school when this whole thing went down. I had an interesting relationship with my Physics teacher that year. I didn't need the class to graduate, and simply took it vs a study hall. There were days when I would just sleep, or days when I would participate. But my teacher was cool with it.
Anyway, at the end of the school year I had him sign my yearbook. In it he wrote:
Pat,
Why am I here? I hate this class. I love this class.
Someday I feel you'll be a great one, just like OJ Simpson.

I still get a chuckle out of that.

 

I've been watching for the past two weeks and am addicted to this case once again. I wish it was on every night.

I feel so badly for Marcia Clark. She was screwed from the git-go by the "good 'ol boys network."
