Though Jones said he apologized because of "Jerry" Porter being on the field

I'm sorry you're an idiot. I'm sorry your franchise is a disgrace. I'm sorry you have no ability to control the scumbag linebacker. You aren't good enough, you aren't smart enough, and doggone it, people don't like you.

Well, Tomlin was taking the high road. I am not his biggest supporter, but that is 100% class.

Lewis, on the other hand, went to the media and whined about calls and non-calls. He's not much different than Mike Holmgren, in that regard.

Say what you will about Tomlin, but he is classy. Probably just sorry about the way the game ended. Not that any of it was his or Porters fault. He took the high road.

on tv they did not show much of the post game field stuff - did any of the Steelers go to mid field and shake hands? it seemed most headed straight to the locker room.

Players did, but it seemed abbreviated. I think the Steelers were more concerned with getting off the field, perhaps having been instructed to do so by their coach(es).

Tomlin probably meant, "Sorry, no donuts for you, but I'll call you later!" [IMG]

I had a decent reply and then I started staring at your avatar. 5 minutes later, I can't remember what I was going to say.

They are BROs, shouldn't he have said sorry marv because you have no discipline on your team, but that would have been the truth, instead of tomlin white washing what was so obvious through out the game......

I think most ran off, I only saw Harrison hanging back with Tomlin.

    Who knows. Who cares.

I didn't see any of them do the mid field hand shake.

Let's be honest - it wasn't a game anyone would want to shake hands after. After all the ugliness, the last thing that was needed was a fight after the game. So they did the right thing, imo.

Likewise with Tomlin. He couldn't exactly say: "great game coach, unlucky!" and Lewis replies "hey, just go on and win the whole thing now!" It was a straightforward "we're leaving. We'll sort this out later".

No need to "shake it up" on the field after that abomination. Would not have ended well.

The Steelers were done with putting up with their crap. I wouldn't shake the hand of someone wanting to take my head off either.
