When he wins another Super Bowl this year and is named SB MVP, they will be.

If he hadn't missed significant time this season, I'm sure they would be. Nice article, @Lady Steel@Lady Steel.

I honestly believe his early off-field "notoriety" labeled him, and that kind of label has VERY strong adhesive for many people. I can only grudgingly give Tom Brady credit for his skills (oh, how it hurt to type that!), and his reputation has been pristine (*cough* deflated balls *cough*). Some folks either don't believe in redemption or just prefer Schadenfreude.

"Is it twue, what they say about how you people are...............gifted?"
Maybe the print media doesn't give Ben props but, the TV announcers do!

    Thanks for posting that article.

I hope we can take advantage of our opportunity and win more SB`s while Ben is in the sweet spot of his career.

Early legal trouble aside I think a large part of reason Ben doesn't get the attention of the other three you mentioned is presentation. Ben just doesn't look as polished and can look like a red-neck on occasion. His game looks closer to sandlot than field general often as well. He is who he is and his physical gifts have done well for him and the Steelers but he isn't as "sexy" as some of the other big name QBs in the league.

I've had him winning the SB before the season started but I'm not that sure of SB MVP. Would be some nice icing on the cake if he wins SB MVP after winning SB #7.

The Rooney's have paid attention to the tune of
over 200 million if he finishes this last contract.

I think what hurts Ben is his stat lines in the 3 super bowls he has played. Not that impressive.
He does have one of the best throws on one of the biggest plays to win the Super Bowl.
He has never had those 5,000 yard 50 touchdown pass seasons.

But he has put up some impressive numbers in indivdual games such as passing for over 500 yards
throwing back to back 6 TD games last year.

He is a HOF QB when it's all said and done. Who knows maybe he has another Super Bowl or 2 before he hangs it up.

Would be nice if it's this year!

He has never had those 5,000 yard 50 touchdown pass seasons.

He never had the receivers to get 50 TDs, Brady had Moss who scored 26 TDs the year he did it and they hardly ever ran the ball when he did it, same with drew brees throwing the ball over 50 times a game, I think having a running game in a balanced offense is more important than throwing the ball 50 times a game....

Man, a little too much love going around. I much prefer being under the radar and playing the roll of the villain. Before you know it, Ben is going to be wearing Uggs and be on the cover of GQ. Say it ain't so, Ben!!

Ben is awesome but I think he presses too much sometimes. Sometimes you just have to work with what's given, and you won't get the mind blowing stats

I feel like he is getting more credit from the announcers this year than past years.

Ben is getting credit from his receivers and the other players on the team...that is all that really counts!

Right or wrong, he has a stigma attached to him for alleged past events.

Couple this with inconsistency, and you get what you get,

According to the title of this thread, I'd say unequivocally that BR is the most physically gifted NFL quarterback. No black and gold sunglasses necessary. Maybe some with quicker feet, quicker release, better accuracy. Other quarterbacks may have a SINGLE strength greater than Ben, but none have an overall better package of attitude, aptitude, skills, and ability. I challenge anyone to mention a QB name that exceeds Ben with regards to ALL that was presented in that article. I respect what others have accomplished and they deserve their accolades. Bradshaw, Montana, Marino, Elway, brady, Unitas, Fouts, and others. I am not calling Ben the greatest ever, I'd certainly call him the most physically gifted football quarterback.

I agree with two of the Super Bowls. But he won the Super Bowl against the Cards for us and should have been MVP.

Ive seen Ben getting lots of accolades now, First Take talks about him a lot as being second only to Brady.

He's taken his game to another level these last couple years.

Need to get this defense shored up so we can take advantage of this, have a 3 or 4 year window maybe to add to the trophy case.
