    The pats wideout that muffed a punt and turned the game last night has been cut by the pats! This is why I've always said that even though I think Bill is a great coach I don't know if I'd want him to coach us just because our roster would have constant turnover and we wouldn't be able to follow guys like we do. Is this reactionary or the right thing to do? Would you like for Tomlin to be this demanding?

    He cut a nobody, if Tomlin did that, hed get accused of holding players to different standards. Fact is, thats just the way things work. Do you think Bill would cut Gronk if he fumbled and led to a loss?

    No. I don't even think he would bench him for it. He has let some big time players go before even if they were past their prime though.

    Like who? I can only think of Moss and thats because he was really causing trouble and basically begging to be cut.

    He let Welker go and he was a really solid player for them too. I think the one that made Brady the maddest was when he let Branch go. I agree that Tomlin probably would get accused of that though.

    They just resigned him to the practice squad. They had to cut him to move him back there.
